   Terrible Experience – Misleading and Dishonest I had a very disappointing and frankly shocking experience at P W House Jewellers. I purchased what I was told was Blue John, only to later find out from a qualified geologist that it was a type of quartz. I then checked and found that THE RECIPT CLEARLY STATED IT WAS BLUE AGATE (a type of banded microcrystalline variety of quartz) — a completely different and far less valuable stone. When I returned to address the issue, staff refused to acknowledge their mistake and claimed they had no refund policy, despite clear evidence on the receipt. They repeatedly and rudely stated that I was wrong and knew nothing about the stone and said the receipt was wrong too. This was despite the stone clearly being what the receipt listed and looking nothing like any vain of blue John! After much persistence, the owner eventually refunded me, but only after saying, “I give you this and you go away.” The whole encounter felt more like a scam than a legitimate transaction. It left me feeling misled, dismissed, and deeply frustrated. Avoid this place if you’re looking for honesty, integrity, knowledge of stones, or even basic customer service.

   A welcoming friendly service at Houses. Adrian did an amazing job sourcing our wedding rings. When mine arrived it was slightly too big so it was quickly resized for me. Just picked up my engagement ring that Adrian did an amazing job of resetting for me. I'm thrilled. The ring has far surpassed any expectations I had. Will definitely use House's again.

   Wen’t here today to ask for help if they could fix my Silver Necklace and the lady said depends what it is and I showed her it and she took it upstairs to show her boss and he sorted it for me within seconds. Was really pleased how fast they where and I listened to their advice about getting a new one and I will eventually. But yeah very pleased and gave £2 into the charity box. Definitely recommend.
