Charged me £100 to repair my gold chain, including putting a new bigger clasp on it, told me 2 weeks, 2 months later I had had enough of being told his repairer was on holiday, then he was ill, when I finally got the chain back, it was 4g lighter than when it went in (I couldn't prove it), also no clasp had been changed, I argued and he agreed to put a new clasp on, he then put the same size on that was originally on the chain, had to wait around 3 weeks for this again, would never ever recommend this scammer of a jeweller to anyone, I'm amazed he can afford to stay open with this sort of service!

Do not deal with this man. He took money to fix an antique Grandfather Clock, it has been nearly 2 years and it is still not repaired. Excuse after excuse after excuse. We are having to go through small claim courts as he just keeps fobbing us off, and still has the clock face. AVOID!

- No website - Not a lot of selection - Inside store is extremely dated - Doesn't sell second-hand or preloved - Staff weren't helpful - When asked for the price of a product was told "It's over X" instead of being given an exact price and was looked at by staff like I couldn't afford it

Went in here to pawn some 18k gold that weighed 31g. He offered me £200. Spot price was £30 a gram and after I told him this he was rude to me. Popped up road to cash converters and got £605. What an awful place to go. I feel for the poor or old who go here to sell their gold. I confronted him about the £405 difference in valuations and was met with a nasty response.

What a dreadful jewellers and most awful post-sales customer service. Avoid at all costs. Very nice people when you are buying from them but my ring got damaged when sent off for repair by them. Couldn't wear it because it was too big, came back from repair with scratches and looked to be second hand (don't even know if it was the same ring it was so badly scratched) All they said was that the scratches were on there when it was sent off. Yet they got me to sign a receipt describing the ring (even included the weight of it) surely if there were scratches all over it they would have noted that on the paperwork they asked me to sign. Now they say they're doing nothing about it. So we're going through the office of fair trading and court after that. If they do come up trumps and offer to resolve it - I'll update this review!
