Great place to go and do some crafting. They have a large selection of pottery items to colour and decorate. The kids love it, but so do the adults. They have special sessions for adults in the evening.
I have used Crafty Monkeys many times over the years, recently painted four mugs I made for my bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding. Staff are so lovely and are the most helpful. They want to see the best out of your creation as much as you do and are very helpful. I will definitely continue to come and paint here. A month ago I had one of the best days of my life: it was my wedding day and I enjoyed every single moment of it! Not only the day itself but everything that came before, all the preparation! It was really a moment of partnership where my now husband and I were involved in all the things we planned! One thing we decided to have is the wedding signature plate! Instead of the regular book, we loved the idea of having a plate with the guests’ signature on it. And here comes Craft Monkey. If you want to have something special, different and high quality, go for it! The service was amazing from the very beginning till the moment we received the plate at home! The ladies that made the contact were super friendly, patient and very attentive to all the questions I had. In addition to that, they were fast and super professional! I’m so glad I found them, and made the contact to check the possibility of having the plate in the Netherlands as we don’t live in the UK. My special thanks to Chrissy, Chloe and Anna! Ladies you were amazing! Thank you for everything !
I love crafty monkey! The staff are always so helpful and friendly. I think the prices are fair considering the work they put in to make sure they come out looking so professional! Would highly recommend
Unfortunately the very nice young lady who dealt with me on the day told me the incorrect price, write the incorrect price on the handwritten paper invoice and then charged me the incorrect price. I was then sent an email with a typed invoice attached which said my outstanding bill was £10. When I sent an email to explain I had already paid in full I was told they had made a mistake and that I need to pay £10 ( I was not provided with a reason in the previous email when asking for more money). I then explained the situation to the manger in an email. Her response was then very rude, full of assumptions and stating I should have told the girl at the till it was wrong. I explained that it is their responsibility to give the correct information to customers and that I didn’t know it was wrong . I then told the manager that if they make mistakes they have to take that as a business and learn from it. From her emails this appears to have happened in the past. I explained to her if I had left with my items on the day she wouldn’t be able to contact me and ask for more money . She then went on to abuse her position of power by refusing to give me my items I had made if I didn’t give her £10. I have never had to write such poor feedback for any business but the manger clearly doesn’t know how to run a business or treat customers. It’s shame that a nice day has now been tainted and I will not be returning or recommending this business going forwards. In response to crafty monkeys response on my review . They have not shared the first email they sent me which stated I needed to pay more money without an explanation to why. The first email they have shared is actually their second email after I questioned why I was being given a new invoice. Beth if your going to copy emails you have written then at-least share everything you have sent instead of tailoring it in an attempt to make yourself look better. You have also missed out the last email where you was not going to give me my items. I am also still waiting for an email you said you was going to send me 4 weeks ago.
I love crafty monkey. Have been again this week to make hand print Christmas gifts for my family and cant wait to see the finished items. In my opinion the items are well priced for items with the personal touch. The ladies who work here are brilliant, always so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Can't wait to come back again.

It's a lovely idea but VERY VERY overpriced which is a real shame as I'd do it weekly/monthly as an activity with the kids if it wasn't so ridiculously expensive. You pay a crazy amount for the item you wish to decorate then on top of that a studio fee!! And then if you want their help with decorating so it's neat etc you then have to pay even more for that! At the price per item I would suggest that all help was included or that they seriously reduce their prices!
