Had my first experience of Swimcube coaching yesterday. Matt the coach was absolutely brilliant. We had a short chat about my swimming experience and what I wanted to gain from the session. Due to upcoming race in 3 weeks we agreed that we would focus on some smaller changes that would help support my efficiency for the race and then set some larger goals to work on to improve my stroke in the future. From arriving to leaving, Matt made me feel comfortable and relaxed, he was really experienced and made his points really clearly. I was a bit nervous of how I would swim in the pool, but after the first go, I feel you pretty much get the hang of it. Having the live feedback on the screen after every effort was a really game changer. Like most swimmers I had no idea how I looked in the water. With 3 cameras you really get a great idea of how your stroke and body position are in the water (even if its not as great as you expect it to be). After every effort Matt gave me some feedback along side the videos and set something for me to work on in the next set. Time really flies once you are in the pool, as I was a bit worried an hour would be too long, but I was enjoying it so much I didn't want the session to end. I have come away with the all the videos and some analysis from Matt to follow. Overall I came away from the session absolutely buzzing. I have always known my stroke wasn't quite right, and have watched thousands of youtube videos to try and fix it, this essentially led me to trying numerous things without ever really pin pointing my big issue. After an hour at the swimcube I have such a clear picture on what I need to work on to improve. Although there is no shortcut and these changes will take time to implement, its a relief to know exactly what I need to improve on. With the drills given to me from Matt I can go away and work on becoming a better swimmer. Would highly recommend

I am a former club swimmer, who has done open water on and off for the last ten years or so. I felt like my technique had dropped off (as have my times) so booked in for a video analysis with Stuart - I was blown away by how brilliant it was. Expected a few pointers but it was so much more: a mixture of easy small/quick fixes, and a bigger change to my stroke which in the long term will have a big effect. Even by the end of the session there was already a huge difference. Stuart was kind, friendly, and encouraging. I canβt recommend a session with Stuart highly enough, whatever your age, whether youβre a complete beginner, a club swimmer, open water swimmer, triathlete, or a masters swimmer.

Needs more than 5 stars. What a rare find of talent, expertise and teaching excellence! Stuart is a teacher who provides detailed analysis that you can see and feel the difference. He gave me the techniques and the tools to practice new movements which felt strange and almost counterintuitive at first butβwith patience and a practiceβI can feel this starting to work and change how feel the water differently and swim with greater ease working with the water. He is incredibly patient and tailors his teaching approach to my learning style and motivations. What a fantastic experience and a new swim journey that I am learning, exploring, and loving swimming again! Thank you, Stuart!

Had a visit to swimcube this weekend. Had no choice but to give feedback, but my review wonβt give the place the justice it deserves. Firstly, where SwimCube is located is just lovely. It is worth the 3 hour drive for the surroundings alone. The facilities are great and the cleanliness of SwimCube is a really high standard. It was a lovely warm welcome and felt at ease straight away. Now on to Stuart. What a guy, he knows his stuff thatβs for sure. He was able to break down every element of my stroke and help me to understand my strengths and point out areas of weakness to be worked on. He could see things I didnβt know were there, knew how to rectify it and we wasted no time getting to work on them. Nothing was too much for him and he really did go above and beyond for us. I know that I will improve under his guidance. He just has the type of analytical mind that can spot anything and everything. He is clearly passionate about what he does, that comes through in his work and to top it all off he has a great sense of humour. I canβt wait to go back for more and I highly recommend to anyone. Thanks for a great session and see you again soon.

Life changing! Stuart transformed my swimming in an hour and he made it fun. His coaching is really clear and he breaks down the technique in to simple easy to understand exercises. The mirrors in the pool with the video play back, along with Stuartβs feedback, massively helped me to improve quickly. Loved the experience and a clear tangible improvement - Iβll be back!

Highly recommended for anyone serious about improving their stroke. Stuart is so knowledgeable and with multiple cameras and mirrors in the water can show you exactly what you are and are not doing and explain exactly how to improve your stroke.

Probably the best hour of coaching I've ever received. Stuart's knowledge and insight is fantastic and he also has a great way of explaining things. The difference in my technique before and after our first session was like night and day, instant improvements! Looking forward to the next session. Thanks Stuart!

Brilliant facility. Stuart was very friendly and accommodating to all our team, not to mention clear and proficient with the technical analysis he have to each of our swimmers. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. I Would recommend to anyone and hope to return soon :)

Great experience and brilliant coaching from Stuart. The video playback showed me exactly what I was doing wrong. Stuart's coaching style was brilliant, and made sure I understood exactly where I was going wrong and what effect this had. I was swimming much faster by the end of the session, and have felt much better over the subsequent weeks thanks to the practical tips and drills I came away with. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to become a better swimmer.
