Appalling rude service from pharmacy staff member. Made to feel embarrassed, due to sensitivity of prescription, & spoken to like an idiot. Despite receiving a text some three weeks ago, stating prescription received, & link showing ‘prescription received’ staff member said no prescription on the system. When queried why I had received the notifications just shrugged shoulders & said ‘I don’t know, we don’t send them’. ‘No prescription showing on the system so suggest you go back to your Doctor’. When I queried again was told to ‘calm down’ & ‘if you wait a minute I’ll show you the screen to confirm NO prescription!’ No offer of apology, assistance, or explanation for ‘ghost’ notifications. Last time I nominate Boots for prescriptions.

Poor service from the pharmacy refused to sort a prescription. Went to Well Pharmacy on the commons and they sorted it in less than 10 mins. My wife went in today (17/10/2025) and the same thing happened spoke to a rude woman (which doesnt narrow it down). We have switched pharmacy avoid the place it is a waste of time. Its a shame I cant leave a zero star review. That sorry place would be very deserving of it.

Wendy and the team at the Boots Pharmacy in Sandbach were brilliant today, helping me get medicine for my daughter when it was out of stock everywhere. When the prescription from the Dr turned out to be incorrect they took forward resolving with the GP, so I could take my little one home to rest only contacting me when it was ready to collect. Thanks again made the world of difference

I went the 7th of August with several thoughts regarding my issue a bit personal the pharmacist has been very professional supportive she didn't let me feel judged and explain everything with great passion. People like her should be an example to their colleagues that non even look you in the eyes.

The staff were very short in their manner, and very unhelpful, made me feel like I couldn't ask anything including help

Convenient for me, but the place seemed cluttered and under staffed, those there were efficient but not overly engaging.

I have been a GP for 10 years and prior to that, a senior A&E doctor for 20 years. I acquired a minor conjunctivitis which I have self treat for a week to no avail, to which I feel at this stage an antibiotic drop is warranted. I came to Boots Sandbach to request an over-the-counter Chloramphenicol antibiotic eye drop but the pharmacist seems to have the gall to disagree and decline with my request and suggested a completely useless eye drop instead, lecturing me about eye infection management as if I haven't a clue about the work I have been doing and the same advice I have given to my patients for years and years - and doing it publicly no less, in front of the entire queue, which add to the insult. It would seem I cannot diagnose and manage a simple eye infection myself after all these years working all over the UK and Republic of Ireland. How strange a pharmacist seems to have the authority to override a doctor's clinical opinion. AND she is aware I'm a GP. Absolute disgrace. I ended up having to travel all the way to Boots in Crewe to get it, the pharmacist there was most understanding and helpful. I have been a loyal Boots customer for years before I came to Sandbach and I have never receive such unprofessional treatment. Boots Sandbach will never get another penny out of me again after this. I'm moving to a different pharmacy. I refuses to be treated and insulted like this.

After the pharmacy staff realised we were waiting for them to serve us it was done fairly quickly. Even though we'd already rang up to see if they'd got the tablets which they had put by. They took a while to do it and we nearly missed our bus which I didn't want to do after a long day we'd have to wait for a hour. Apart from that a good store, staff and items to tempt you to buy
