Stayed in Caxterway, a very spacious cottage, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Weather was typical UK Autumn but the heating in the building was superb. Minor criticisms - TV in lounge could do with being larger for the huge room; showers maintained a good temperature but flow was poor. Neither would put us off staying again. Dog field was great, especially when the dogs decided they needed to go out at 6am! Farditch Farm is really well located, no more than 30 mins from lots of great locations. Aldi and other supermarkets less than 10 mins away. Highly recommended accommodation.

Booked one of the cottages for family long weekend. Very clean, comfortable & well equipped. Only very minor petty criticism was TV was a bit small for the size of the lounge. We will probably book again.

Lovely campsite, not too big and in great location. The ladies showers were brilliant. Spotless facilities and nice added touch of lounge and kitchen available if needed. Will be back for sure.

Nice campsite for caravans and campers. Take strong pegs and a large mallet as the hard standing pitches are very hard. Very clean facilities and dogs are very welcome. A bit noisy during the day with the traffic nearby, but can't really complain too much

Clean site next to a busy road. The motorhome pitches back onto the road which is noisy but it does go quieter at night. Shower block was spotless. Would of been nice to meet the owners, I like the personal touch to make you feel like a valued customer - their management of the site is done remotely. The Church inn is a 25 min walk which has good food and probably required a table reservation. A taxi to Buxton is around £15. A taxi is advised as the walk to the closest bus stop is along an A road that has no pavement and fast moving traffic.

This is a small site with 11 pitches. It is immaculate and well kept. Super facilities with showers toilets kitchen for your use with fridge and a freezer. Also a room with table and chairs plus easy chairs and a TV mounted on a wall you can watch. Also at this site are cottages and a newly converted barn for hire which sleeps 12 8 or 2 also in immaculate condition and reasonably priced. Can’t thank the owners enough for their hard work keeping this site lovely.

We stayed here on a touring pitch. All are Hardstanding and fully serviced, which means it is perfect for use all year round. Our pitch was a little tight for our twin axle and we were thankful for the auto mover. Lovely quiet site and it was ideal for meeting up with friends. Local pub is around 20 min walk away.

Fantastic little camping site (caravans and motorhomes) Superb toilet and shower block. Spotlessly clean. Also has full kitchen facilities - washing up, oven, microwave, washing machine etc. Good size dog walking field. Free WiFi was fast enough and reliable. About 20-25 minutes walk to the Church Inn in Chelmorton (all uphill, but obviously all downhill on the way back!). Nearby roads can be quite busy during the day but traffic volumes dropped off in the evening and overnight.
