“This wasn’t my first tattoo, but it was my first time being tattooed by a woman, and it was an amazing experience! Dark Rose Tattoo is a studio I can wholeheartedly recommend. I was a bit worried about the pain, but any nerves I had quickly disappeared – the atmosphere was welcoming, and the artist was both professional and meticulous. She explained the entire process, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. The tattoo turned out beautifully, exactly as I’d imagined! I’ll definitely be back for another one. “[The picture was taken the day after getting the tattoo.] I was tattooed by Zoe, we had such a great time chatting while she tattooed me. When we were starting with just the stencil, she moved it as many times as I asked, until I was completely happy with it and checked multiple times before permanently inking me. I was able to ask for shading on the tattoo where I wanted it and she was more than happy to do that. When I was conflicted about if I wanted any more on the front legs she reminded me that I am given a free touch up a month later so if I don't love it I can make some minor changes then. My tattoo is healing incredibly well, there has been no redness and no soreness, it already 2 weeks later feels like it has been here forever. The tattoo studio is incredibly well kept, very clean with visible hand washing stations and hand sanitizer everywhere, clingfilm is used to keep everything highly sterile. The needles are unpacked in front of you meaning you have full confidence that they are sterile and the area on your skin is fully sanitised before tattooing. I highly recommend this tattoo studio and if I ever have the courage/want for more dinosaurs I will 100% be going back to Iron Tiger Studios and Zoe.”

“I got my first tattoo yesterday by Beth Talbot. It was a great experience, I was nervous at first but the chill atmosphere calmed me right down. “Turned up and asked if they do walk in piercing, luckily they did. I had a double helix piercing. The guy was professional and made me feel comfortable. Asked if I was happy with the placement before the piercing and readjusted to my preference when asked. I couldn't be happier with the experience. Nice studio. “Had a tattoo with Felix 19/03/25. The studio is welcoming, clean, wonderfully decorated, and pleasantly quiet, even with the building works outside when I was there. Felix himself was so accommodating. He sent me the design the day before, and very promptly, and graciously, made the adjustment I requested. On the day, I felt completely able to ask for breaks or adjustments should I need them, something which is really important in a tattoo artist, and there was a great balance of chat and comfortable silence (also very important, imo!) They also were very patient with my embarrassing leg twitches, which was so reassuring. The overall experience was lovely, I already have another tattoo booked with Felix (and am eyeing more designs of his), but it certainly seems like every artist there has beautiful work, it'll be difficult not to try and book something with everyone. ☺️”
