“I really can’t say enough good things about Luke, all the team and my experiences at Shakespeare Drive. I’ve been going to an NHS dentist for all of my life, and I was left feeling let down and anxious after they recommended a tooth be extracted when I thought it could be saved. I decided to get a second opinion from Shakespeare Drive and I’m so grateful I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in safe hands. Luke not only saved my tooth with a root canal and crown, he actually listened to me. He has been phenomenal. He took the time to do proper xrays and found other work that my NHS dentist overlooked for years and would have cause me significant problems if unresolved. When I spoke to my NHS dentist about the additional work, they simply said they’d “monitor it”, which I was disappointed and frustrated by. Needless to say, I will not be going back to them. Because of the trust that I gained in Luke and the team, I’m now having my other work done at Shakespeare Drive rather than through my NHS dentist. Given my experiences during my root canal and crown, I really trust that work is being done properly, thoroughly and to a high quality. What really blew me away was how caring everyone has been. I’d lost a lot of faith in dentists after past experiences, but Luke, Jas, the Dental Nurses, Receptionists have all made me feel like I mattered and have been so kind - not only with me, but with each other. They’ve checked in on me, explained everything clearly, and went above and beyond with aftercare. It’s rare to find a place where everyone genuinely seems to love what they do and it really does show. If you’re nervous about the dentist or if you’ve had bad experiences in the past, give them a try. They don’t just fix problems, they really care about oral health and hygiene and they can restore your trust in dentistry. You won’t feel rushed, just a number, or sat waiting around because they have overbooked to see a ridiculous amount of people in a short timeframe. Also the practice is so clean and modern which is always a bonus, and if you go there at Christmas time they have an amazing tree in reception with very unique decorations. “I had been wanting to get Invisalign for over a year but felt like it was a lot to spend on myself. I decided to just treat myself as I was unhappy with my smile and the way my teeth looked.
