“Been shopping at Nuvo Foods ever since they opened at Sparkbrook. Being a restauranteur its very important to me to source the very best quality spices and i found that at Nuvo foods . Their ground Jeera is a perfect example. The Lentils are ready cleaned and i can buy with confidence. Competitively priced too. “I went to the Christmas fair in Nottingham with my parents, Auntie, siblings and the kids. I walked past a stall that had a lovely assortment of Meads. The lady who ran the market stall was very friendly and let me try some, she told me how they age the Mead and which is the most popular, my auntie told the lady she loves Lindisfarne mead, the lady smiled at me and said ours tastes better and i have to agree. I tried the Camelot Mead and it was delicious. I've tried a few other meads, but this is something else entirely, its now my favourite mead, my auntie treated me to a bottle of the Camelot. To mead fans i would highly recommend Magic Mead, I'm definitely going to try the others in their range. To top the whole experience off the store next door to Magic Mead sells viking horn drink vessels which my auntie bought me to drink the mead from.”

“This place has decent prices and some great random items. The bakery section is impressive, as are the German meats in the chiller. You can do a very good budget Oktoberfest or Christmas market at home from shopping here. The staff are very helpful when called upon. The carpark is surprisingly huge once you turn in off the high street, with plenty of spaces available.”
