“Unfortunately the clutch assembly for my old Audi are no longer available - after many hours of searching..... A friend sugested getting it refurbished. After a quick search on Google Calder Cluthes appeared - I filled in their on line form and was contacted with in the hour by Mark at Calder Clutches. I explained the situation and he asked me to sent pictures to him of the various components & part numbers. I got a quote for full repair including new release bearing - great price!!! It was certainly much cheaper than if I had been able to purchase a new Assembly. I posted the old assy off the next day, and it was returned within a week, having had a full quality refurbishment. The advice they gave was excellent. I managed to get the car safely to the shop and I was fortunate that they weren't too busy, so they managed to get my car looked at straight away, fix the puncture and called me to collect my car within 1/2 hour. The service was excellent. The chaps I spoke to were friendly and knowledgeable. You have a very happy customer today, thank you!”

“The title of Mechanic or Engineer gets used very loosely these days. Most mechanics will simply fit new parts. The skill of problem solving has been lost somewhere and is probably no longer taught. Craig is a proper mechanic and problem solver - there are not many of these people around now. Craig recently completed a recommissioning of an old Vespa for me, getting it back on the road. I will be booking all my vehicles with Dixons from now onwards.”

“Have recently used this garage twice for two cars within the last 2 weeks. Highly satisfied with both jobs carried out. First job was a Cam Belt change which was quoted for before hand so I knew what I was paying and job completed same day. “One of the rear doors on my 2009 Mercedes C200 wouldn't unlock or open. I tried a Merc specialist who couldn't look at it in time beofre the MoT was due but they referred me to Prestige Car Care who were able to accommodate me fairly quickly. They managed to get the door open without damaging anything and replaced the faulty latch with a working used part which saved me a bit of money. Communication was excellent and they even arranged for me to be able to collect the car because I couldn't get to them unti after they'd closed on that paricular day. If I ever need to farm out any work (I do most car repairs myself) I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended.”

“Absolutely FANTASTIC. I'm delighted. My dad thought I was a right loon driving all the way up from Salisbury but by the power of Greyskull it was worth it. Not only was the repair perfect and fantastic but the extra little bits I'd not realised (A seized clamp for the Turbo that needed replacing along with part of the exhaust needing welding) FRR were more than reasonable when it came to the extra cost and even finished early saving me a whole extra night up there. The ride home was the best time I've had in my car in my Life. Topping my Dad taking me out in my Grandad's Sierra Cosworth he used to race when I was 6 or 7. 47mpg average was brilliant let's just say that. Don't be put off by Bradford if you've come far. “Wow, what can I say? Apart from what an amazing team? Firstly they converted my 1960 Anglia into a little rocket it changed from 150 BHP on arrival to a whopping 172 BHP, the car is like a new vehicle after it was tuned and remapped and had a lot of shiny things added to it. My car had been to 5 different places to be sorted as it was running so awful so we took the decision to take it to the manufacturer of all the parts and to be honest it was the best decision I ever made despite it being a 200 mile journey, if only this had been done in the first place it would’ve saved all the heartache and money that we wasted with others I cannot recommend these lads enough, they manufacture all their parts on site, they build, and they tune. They certainly looked after us and explained everything about the car and what they were doing and even helped me when through no fault of theirs and actually due to a rusty tank I broke down on the way home. They immediately told me to come back and they would look they help sort the problem and got me on my way so I could drive the 200 my journey home oh my God, the Car was amazing and gave me no trouble on the journey back. So from me, I have nothing but good to say I’m recommend them 100% and thank them for all their hard work and all that they did for me and my Car. Claire. Anglia 105E”
