“If you like real ale and craft beer, this is the best place to enjoy it. Its family run and full of atmosphere and nice people. They have music every Friday night at 8pm and if that's not your scene there is an upstairs section with more tables you can use which is a bit quieter but at other times the noise level makes it easy to talk to each other. Highly recommended .”

“My daughter had her 16th Birthday meal here with her friends and we all had a lovely evening!!! Thank you to the really helpful staff for making this an enjoyable night! The GLUTEN FREE offerings were wonderful, so my Seabream was cooked to perfection!!! There's A Lot of GLUTEN FREE choice! All the teenagers had starters and pizza and there were no complaints!!! “So I've been here a few times as someone who doesn't live in Brighouse. Brighouse is an underestimated town and nowhere typifies the great attitude of the local populous more than this pub. Friendly,. Welcoming and several rooms with set functions like sport and music. If you happen to know a pub that is cold and unwelcoming show them this place. THIS is how a pub should be run.”

“What a little belter of a cafe! Proper hidden gem. Fresh quality ingredients with a massive tea cake. Quality sausages. Clean outside table and chairs. She cant do enough for you. Dog water provided. Just a cracking cafe so definitely our go to place for lemon Fanta with ice and blue and red straws in Brighouse . Good value to at under a tenner for 2 meals and 2 drinks!”

“A quirky and friendly train themed café. I am a local and travel by train into London from Brighouse regularly. What better way to start the day than a very large breakfast sandwich! Not only is it better value than breakfast available during the journey there is more and it tastes better. This morning's breakfast changed my life.”

“Ordered a delivery. Arrived within around 30 mins. The driver was extremely polite and respectful when he rang to double check my address and door number! I had the Chicken Makhani, chapati, chips. All my food was fresh and hot! Complimentary salad and mint yoghurt sauce- and it was FRESH! I enjoyed this too! My chicken makhani was spicier than i had expected (i did choose mild, i think) but it was still so delicious! I really liked that the chicken was cut into smaller chunks! I will be ordering again!”

“Type of working class pub which are a dying breed that does what it says on the tin... It wouldn't be for everybody but most definitely it is for me, decent price for a pint and listening to the locals is another treat too.”
