“The Halifax Playhouse is a lovely theatre with lots of charm and heritage behind it. The staff are very welcoming and seats are very comfortable. It's also nice visiting a theatre that allows you to get so close to the actors on stage. It's an intimate venue that we can't wait to see more plays at in the future!”

The kitchen is an open space and I love watching the chefs work as they prepare the food. The staff are always super friendly and up for a laugh. I can't recommend this place highly enough. “This pub has a new manager Shannon she's only been in 8 weeks. She's very friendly & has a bubbly personality. I can already see the pub getting more customers in everytime i visit. The atmosphere and staff are great. The pub is clean and beer great. There's now singers on every Thursdays to see how that goes. Haven't marked the food as they don't sell meals, only your normal, crisp, nuts, etc.”

“A lovely little B&B, only a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of town. Rooms are very well appointed with en-suite facilities, microwave and tea/coffee making. Travis House is owned and run by a very friendly local couple who know everything about the area. The rooms are very reasonable in price (I paid £45 for a twin room, per night). An excellent cooked breakfast is included in the price. Highly recommended, I will definitely stay again!”
