“Absolutely fantastic spot to have some brunch in Buxton, right on the high street. The food was outstanding and served quickly. I had a vegan samosa chaat which was delicious and they had a range of vegan/ gluten free foods. All very affordable with a decent portion size. Beautiful Indian street food done well. It was also busy, on a Monday, which tells me it’s a popular local spot. Tables were full and reserved. I’d highly recommend this if you’re visiting Buxton.”

“I live about a mile from Roots,and drive and walk by regularly. But I never noticed it. Now, I call in quite regular for a cappuccino which is to die for. It is so creamy and tasty. It beats C@%&A and the like any day. I have never tried the food, but what I have seen looks very tasty. The staff are very polite and friendly. The premises is quite large, and there is a decent size room for private functions. The single use toilet is always very clean. There is parking to the front. All in all a great place for a meet up with friends for a catch up and a coffee and a snack. Opening times. Sunday closed. Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Saturday 9am to 2pm Closed Bank Holidays. Except school holidays. 9am to 2pm.”

“Karen who does the work is absolutely fantastic at what she does , she’s so gentle, caring and will always give you the best advice if your a first timer. I’ve been to Karen a few times now and she’s now my fairy lip mother. I wouldn’t go to anyone else! The results I come out with every time are just amazing!! Also can’t forget her receptionist as well. Such a sweetheart!!! Great service and would highly recommend!!”

“first time visit, five of us arrived 1pm on wednesday, the pub almost empty. the menu is comprehensive and sone special offer two meals for £16 and £12. good setvices and the meals we ordered were delicious. the baguette was fresh and soft. meals were in generous portion. they will change ownership in two weeks. hope the new owner keep up the good standards.”

“First time I arrived to this place, simply found on google and was near by. Staff were warm and welcoming, prices and sheesha quality were good Comfortable seating and overall good experience, definitely come again and recommend. Felt abit cold before I entered as I was not in appropriate clothing for the lovely weather we had, that day, staff member brought a heater to me! Would encourage owner to change the photos on google of the building as it deserves alot more credit than what it currently has.”

“Wow! Not enough stars to rate this restaurant. To say they blew us away with customer service is an understatement. 3 of us booked in for breakfast & we mentioned it was a pre wedding breakfast for the Groom, Grooms father & Best man. We arrived to find the table set up specially for us with a boxed flower arrangement & card written to the groom from all the staff. It was a tear jerker. Irrespective of the fact only 3 of us had booked to attend, the management had taken the decision to go the extra mile knowing we couldn’t possibly eat or drink enough to pay for the flowers or maybe they’d just break even. We talked about how amazingly kind they’d been all day. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I nearly forgot to tell you just how great the food was too! The best breakfast I’ve had for a few years also. They have freshly squeezed orange juice which was a treat you don’t often find. Super sausages & black pudding! The groom is vegan & Rondo caters as part of their standard offer a full vegan menu choice. Quite genuinely, it’s brilliant with awesome staff! Thank you all.”

“The service is always great here. The staff are always friendly and professional. I also really like that every Capo Lounge has the same vibe through the UK. The ones I have been to in Mansfield, Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon are anyway. I can honestly say we have never had a problem with the service here. We eat and fine dine most weekends, but we still just love going for a good old English Fry Up! The cocktails are lush and YES, I drank one before 12pm ;)”

“Tha food is wonderful, however, it's cash only, make sure you ask for your receipt or you won't get one. Service when we went there last week, was slow and I'm not totally sure how to describe the two guys working the tables, one was really nice, the other though was pleasant, but not sure about him! We were 8, 6 adults one 5 year old and a baby, and we were a loud group, so maybe he had reservations about us. We did have a lovely evening despite my gripes.”

“A fantastic curry. We arrived early on a Thursday, we were the only people there, I did wonder if we had made the right decision. Well I can tell you the food was magnificent, superb flavours well cooked and presented. By the time we had finished the restaurant was packed, not a spare table, for a Thursday night to be this busy it must be good, the locals clearly know this is the curry house to go to. “Great customer service - booked my car in for damage to the front bumper, decided to use JCT600 because it was an approved VW repair centre. Very good service from start to finish. My car came back spotless and was done very quickly (two and an half days!) All the staff were friendly and helpful - thank you to Paul and Dan and all at the repair centre.”
