“Lovely rooms, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with White Company toiletries. I gave 4 stars for room as would have expected a Nespresso (similar) coffee machine. Parking is first come first served basis in the car park opposite; £1 for 6pm to 8am and then you need to pay daily charges so I'd suggest downloading the pay to park app. From 3pm to 12 noon cost £11 in parking charges. We parked easily but it was low season. Friendly check in but there wasn't anyone on reception at checkout and the place isn't staffed overnight but there is a contact number you can ring if there are issues, hence 4 stars. Breakfast very nice in coffee shop attached to hotel, 10% discount for hotel guests and £15 each for a very generous full English breakfast with a drink. Would recommend both café and hotel.”

“Whilst on holiday we chose the Scotsmans Pack for 7 adults, 3 children (one of whom was 18 months old) and 2 dogs. From the very moment we walked through the door we felt welcomed and valued, and absolutely everything was fantastic. The selection of food, the friendliness of the staff, the time it took for the food to arrive (particularly for 3 impatient children) and the value for money far exceeded our expectations. They even put us into a separate area so we didn't have to worry about the youngest disturbing other diners. All in all, thank you to the staff at Scotsmans Pack for a fantastic experience.”

“Came here for my husband's birthday recently, having not been for a long time, and it was just as good as we remembered. The Let's Do Lunch menu is such good value for food of this quality. My husband said it was the best meal he'd had in ages. The service is also excellent with friendly, attentive staff, and it's such a beautiful setting. We'll be back!”

“My first ever visit to Wadsley Bridge WMC for the Complete Madness tribute act. Thoroughly impressed. Fast, friendly service at the bar, fun atmosphere, tables and chairs for everyone plus a space to dance at the front of the stage. The band was absolutely brilliant too and only cost £5 for the ticket! A top night out. Visited again. Another cracking night and great value. Cheap drinks too.”

“My daughter got married here recently and it was an absolutely amazing day. She married outside in the beautiful gardens which was so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue room looked fantastic. The evening food of pie and peas was delicious. The staff were lovely and very attentive to all our needs. We stayed the night the rooms very nice they were clean and the beds very comfortable and to round our stay off a great breakfast too.”

“Never come across this place before but really glad that I did. Very unassuming from the outside, however once inside this place was very impressive with some great authentic Persian food, great presentation and great service. The decor was stunning too. Had to finish the evening with some traditional Persian tea which really finished the night off perfectly. Looks like it's had a refit too. You really need to check this place out!”

“Only stayed 1 night whilst passing through and got a great price for a bed in a 6 bed dorm. Rooms and facilities were very clean and the shower was nice and hot with decent pressure. By far though, the best part of the whole experience was the wonderful, friendly staff and the incredible breakfast they cooked!”

“Absolutely brilliant, couldn't fault the place if I tried! What I thought was going to be an average bar experience, was completely flipped on its head. From some of the nicest and most genuine staff I've ever seen, to quite an extensive menu and the food was delicious. I Will definitely be returning!”

“Sharman Court is a highly competent and professional establishment. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The flats themselves are spacious and all the utilities run smoothly. Students are very well protected from the day to day by the security staff. It is a relaxing, quiet environment where first year students can feel at ease starting their own uni lives. That has certainly been my experience.”

“Stayed at the Hasland as doing a training course in the area , couldn't fault the place at all , rooms clean , people lovely especially Debbie and the other lady I think her name was shirley , the pork pie and pickles from the bar were excellent . Definently be back Thank you for a lovely stay .”

“Found this open one bank holiday Monday evening when my usual Bawtry haunts weren't. Well, what a find.... I've been back numerous times since for a takeaway. All the dishes I've had this far have been excellent, my wife especially enjoys the Tandoori chicken. While i've not had the same dish twice. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended”
