“Having studied Shiatsu at another school for one and a half years, I took a three month taster course with Frank Davies of Bath School of Shiatsu and Yoga. In terms of Shiatsu techniques, I can truthfully say I learned more in those three months with him than I'd learned in a year and a half with my previous school. Such was the force of this realisation, I decided to go back to the first year with him and start my learning journey right from the beginning again - and this has been a very good decision! Frank's integration of Yoga - which I am not good at - and emphasis on posture makes the process of giving Shiatsu not only more comfortable as a practitioner, but a more fluid and enjoyable experience for the recipient. As a tutor Frank is exacting. But the consistency of his approach to teaching and his immense encouragement builds my confidence, and also my hunger to learn more and more.
