“Our son attended playgroup and he absolutely loved it. Every day he ran in no problem, often too excited to take his bag and say bye to us! He spoke about the staff a lot which was lovely, saying they were his friends and that he wanted to work there when he was older. Often on a weekend he would ask to go see them. The setting is perfect for little ones to develop, indoor play with all different stations, crafts, reading area etc. a playground with play huts, sandpit, bikes etc. A woodland area with all sorts of outdoor activities. Access to the sports fields where they do fitness and sports. The orchard and woods where they do forest school. There really is so much for them to do. Since starting at playgroup he has gained so much confidence and made loads of friends. Most of which are going to Bishopthorpe Infant School. This meant when he attended taster sessions his friends were there and they were all excited to go to big school. Attending playgroup has given him the best possible start for school.
