βLooks like a mental asylum, bare sick.β
βI had my nicest two years of academic education here at York College. I will never forget some of the teachers and the friends I made. The college environment was so nice and welcoming, great study space, social and group work spaces and comfortable seating. I love both big size rooms such as the psychology classrooms and small/ packed spaces in math rooms, they both group up the studentsβ attention and made studying more interesting. Never forget the lockers too, if how much snacks I used to keep in it. Thank you York college! Thank you the designers or York college and thanks to all the teachers and friends!β
βAmazing Staff and First-Class Treatment I canβt thank everyone at York Hospital enough. Anyone who has suffered with gallbladder problems will understand how severe and exhausting the pain can be, and the care Iβve received has made an incredibly difficult time so much easier. Every member of staff has been genuinely friendly, supportive and reassuring. Iβve already had my gallbladder removed and am now waiting for my next procedure to deal with the trapped stones, and throughout it all Iβve felt truly looked after. Thank you to the whole team for your hard work, compassion and professionalism. Youβre all amazing. Xβ
βNice school I took my daughter to a open evening a couple of weeks ago as she will be attending this school next yearβ
βI only signed up this week so itβs difficult to comment on what itβs going to be like long term, but so far? What a place, honestly Iβve looked forward to coming every single day, class gym despite it being upstairs and relatively small, modern and up to date, friendly yet professional staff and the pool facilities are brilliant. At this price point Roko is a pure hidden gem in York.β
βVery happy to have found freedom care. They were able to give me an appointment on the day.The osteopath, Maud, was very reassuring, professional, and hands on (exactly on the right spots). I was pleased and relieved with the treatment and booked a follow up.β
βIβm an anxious paitent but Dr Blackwell has such a wonderful way to validate how you are feeling. She is a fantastic listener and very thorough. I feel like Iβm in safe hands at the consultation.β

βMy son (4 years old) says his school is great and I have to agree.β
βMy son started at Wakefield Stagecoach when he was 8. It has been fantastic to watch him grow in confidence and come out of his shell, which is all down to Katie and her team. He is 12 now and loves to go and has made a good group of friends. Stagecoach has given him lots of opportunities.β
βFroggy legs is a fantastic swimming school. They have taught both my children to swim. The teachers are kind and caring, making the children feel at ease in the water. It's so easy to book and see the progress using the online portal. Thank you, Susanne, for being so dedicated!β
βAbsolutely love this venue. A hidden gem in York which offers theatre goers an intimate experience. The setting allows you to really feel part of what is onstage. We loved our recent visit and will be back as soon as we are able!β
βI joined here from Bootham in class 4 and they made such a positive change to my life and education, giving me lasting memories, unique experience and friendships as well as a solid education. Covering things from the basics like maths, English and science to a wide coverage of history, religion and practical things such as woodworking. I never felt stressed or pressured and always felt I had someone to talk to and I was always noticed. And I cannot recommend it enough.β
βLGR has been a really positive place for my oldest daughter to go. It's not just childcare, but a space to grow and learn. The staff are extremely patient and caring towards the children and really help to make every day count in terms of learning and experiences. Their forest school has been a particular favourite to my homebody daughter, it's really increased her confidence and assisted in her learning and becoming ready for school. My youngest daughter will be starting LGR soon and i am excited to see how LGR enhances her learning journey too.β
βAs parents we find Bootham School brimming with many qualities, there is a calming atmosphere punctuated with a strong sense of purpose,- forming a perfect baseline to facilitate learning and self confidence. "Adventurous & Liberating" is the School mantra. Our two children have made some wonderful friends and from starting Bootham in year seven, have never looked back. The teaching staff are supportive and motivating. The activities after 1600 hrs add another dimension to the learning and development of children, giving them a taste of things they (and we) would probably never think of in the fast paced world in which we live. Finally, the food is consistently of the highest quality and the children (& us on Saturdays),look forward to every meal !β
