“My absolute favourite takeaway!!! The food quality is fantastic, great selection, generous portions and utterly delicious!!!! The staff are friendly and welcoming, I met the owner this evening (sorry forgot your name, Athir?) we had a nice chat, I ate some yummy Turkish delight and he let me take a few chunks home as it's my fave! I'm also a complete houmous connoisseur and it's excellent!!!!!! Definitely recommend, so nice to have a takeaway and not feel disgusting, fat and unhealthy after eating! “An excellent village midlands Co-op where, as always, carrying your membership card really pays off. There is ample parking to the rear and the opening hours are generous. The range of stock is rather limited but it carries more than just the essentials. The staff are quite helpful and polite so you don’t need to use the automated checkouts like some less welcoming places. There are often baked goods on offer, lots of cheeses, a little stationery, and usually fresh flowers outside. They stock a full range of newspapers but their magazine selection is rather downmarket. Sadly, there is only one aisle of fresh food, with far more space given over to alcohol, snacks, confectionary, processed meat and especially pet food. Overall, a vital grocery hub for the village, with reasonable prices IF you carry that card!”
