“A popular Italian but for very good reason! It’s only a small place so I was lucky to be able to secure a small table later into the evening without a reservation. The service was both attentive and fast throughout my short visit. There’s a good number of pizzas available to suit most taste, plus the staff were willing to make small changes. The 12 inch was a good size and was cooked perfectly, with the smoked beef choice having right amount of topping. A really independent vibe with nice atmosphere, I’d highly recommend and will certainly be returning next time I’m in the town.”

“We visited ‘The Bird’ during a stay with family, it was brilliant. Fantastic menu in a spacious and beautiful restaurant/bar. The staff were without exception friendly, polite and attentive to all our requests. It was a pleasure to be there and without doubt be returning. “We had a lovely meal at Bella Italia tonight. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed every part of it. Our server, Ilona, was absolutely wonderful — so friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better server. The manager was also fantastic — very welcoming on our arrival and he made sure we were well looked after throughout the evening. The whole team made the experience feel relaxed and special. We’ll definitely be back!”
