“A lovely intimate Italian style restaurant with friendly and cheerful staff. Reasonable prices for excellently served dishes. The marinated olives for nibbles with drinks were tasty, but the bread, with balsamic and olive oil, came toasted for some reason. Serving fresh bread with this would make a vast improvement.”

I treated myself to a feast for lunch which included pizza slices, a sausage roll, and the best of all: a focaccia with olives, pesto and tomato. Absolutely top-notch food, and the look and feel of the place is also something to write home about. Highly recommended!”

“Here from the U.S., we are staying nearby and stopped in for a quick drink at the pub. Everyone was so incredibly nice and welcoming we ended up staying for hours drinking and talking. Highly recommend a visit here. This is an amazing little pub. The locals are wonderful, and the owner is just the best!”

“Absolutely loved this place. A real hidden gem in the centre of Norwich. Feeling spontaneous on a Friday evening. I called half an hour before to see if they could accommodate my wife and I for dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly and they managed to squeeze us in at the last minute. The food is absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. We opted to share a mix of various small plates and everything was delicious, well presented and served promptly. The drinks offering is decent so my wife opted to try a glass of the Plum wine while I stuck with the familiar Sapporo. We were so blown away by the plum wine we decided to share a bottle. It is the perfect drink to have whilst savouring the delicate flavours of the food, a wonderful balance of dry, sweet, tangy and fresh. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. We will be returning again in the very near future.”

“i loved it here, me and my mum visited norwich over the weekend and she found this place to go to for dinner and it did not dissapoint! we pretty much ordered the whole menu, and everything was delicious we had loaded fries, wings, and a rice bowl and we shared a bit of everything this place is perfect for sharing! it needs more recognition honestly the food was amazing and we met tom and evie who work there and they were so lovely. i wish there was one near me so i could have it again! 100/10 ❤️”

“Myself my wife and Daughter was in Burgh castle for a short break. We discovered this restaurant/takeaway while goggling for a takeaway which had gluten free options. We was so impressed with their friendly and understanding staff who reassured us Of their food. Our takeaway was delicious Very good ingredients and cooked so well. We will definitely come back to this restaurant. And would recommend”

“Always a great experience with Bella. Always had takeaway as the kids love it. Food is great quality and staff are always friendly. It’s getting a bit expensive now but quality and quantity hasn’t suffered like other places as the cost of living has increased. Bella has become more of treat now.”

“We discovered Bella Napoli whilst holidaying in Suffolk. We were really pleased to find an authentic independent Italian restaurant and was very impressed with the extensive choice on the menu, it was very hard to pick what to go with as so many dishes I wanted to try! In the end my partner and I both opted for a pizza over pasta; he went with a pepperoni one and I went with a create your own with chicken, pepperoni, onion and basis. There was lots of toppings to choose from. When the food arrived it looked delicious and it tasted really good. There was plenty of flavour to it and the ingredients seemed really fresh, the pepperoni slices were stand out! They were both very reasonably priced too at around £10 each which is cheaper than most other pizza restaurants, even chain ones which are not as good! There were 3 sizes to choose from. The staff were friendly and the decor inside was clean and modern. We both really enjoyed our visit to Bella Napoli and really hope they will open up a restaurant in Norfolk next!”

“Warm welcome and engaging staff who had time for friendly banter! I was a walk in solo diner and was offered a table inside straight away but I chose to eat outside. I had an anchovy olive and capers pizza which was crisp fresh and delicious also some skin on fries with truffle oil and grated parmesan which were hot crunchy and perfectly seasoned! All in all I had a very pleasant time while there, there were many people going in and out, some for takeaway and some eating in so the buzz line "neighbourhood pizzaria" was true. All you need from a restaurant is great food a pleasant environment and staff who appear to enjoy being there and Lucy's has all of those qualities in abundance! Thank you. Al”

“Very enjoyable meal. Late booking but seemed to be plenty of room which was surprising for a Friday night. Interesting concept where you can design your own meal by combining pasta, sauce and toppings. Lots of other great options on the menu and specials board too. Good value, friendly staff and cosy too.”

“Popped in after seeing this place while on the train from Diss. Well laid out venue with inside and outside seating/bars. Picnic lager so refreshing and nice and mild strength-wise, ideal to quench the thirst on a hot day. Had a 'Norwich Niihau' pizza. For me, the best pizza I've ever had. Absolutely incredible. Looking forward to coming again soon!”

“We have been going to Matane for years and it is hands down the best sushi we have found in Norfolk. Their selection is fantastic and the sushi rolls are delicious, if anyone wants take away sushi quickly i recommend here. For larger groups their sharing platters are excellent and for individuals their portions are well sized. Their staff are really nice and have never made us feel unwelcome or awkward. The only downside is their restaurant seating is very limited, around 10 seats inside on a communal table or window table. We have eaten in before and it was perfectly comfortable but I wouldn’t go for a dinner with multiple people. Long story short- Eat here! Take away is the best option, the staff are also very nice!”

These two set up my new phone, transferred all the data from my old phone. Took ages, but not as long as it would have taken me!. “Great-tasting authentic pizza, freshly made to order, from scratch. Enzo himself is a real character and a good host. Points to note: 1) CASH ONLY, visit a cash point before the meal 2) NO TAKEAWAY - Enzo does not put his pizza in a box! 3) IT'S POPULAR BUT whilst it's definitely best to book, you might be able to sneak in after 8pm even without a reservation.”
