I therefore went to the aisle where the oil is and a lovely guy who I don’t know approached me and told me to come to General Traffic as it would be way better oil and way better prices… HE WAS NOT WRONG! Took it here and was told to buy the sensors from ford and they would fit all 4 for £100 . Saved me a fortune great friendly service and i know i have genuine ford sensors because I supplied them . “Great garage. I went in expecting to be paying £760 for a wet belt after Halfords had tried to scare me saying the work needed doing (for £925!) and they wouldn’t do my MOT without it. I contacted voxcar for a second opinion and thank god I did! They advised me not to drive it but get it recovered to them and they would have a look at it and try to sort in between jobs so I didn’t have to wait until the end of the month for a booking. It had been at voxcar for less than 24 hours when they called me to say the wet belt was not an issue and it was literally just needing oil. Honest guys who could have took me for the £760 but cared more about genuinely taking care of the customer. Couldn’t recommend them enough!”

After a dreadful experience at Halford's in Newton on 29th August, whom refused to conduct my MOT and service as, apparently, my car was a health and safety risk which was about to blow up, the Horseshoe garage kindly agreed to examine my car on the very same day. The lads there were so helpful and confirmed that, apart from a slight overfill of my fuel tank, there was nothing wrong with my car. Due to my job of a care support worker, I need a car, so the Horseshoe agreed to conduct my MOT 2 x days later and passed it with 1 x small advisory. I would recommend this garage to anyone.
