“A decent petrol station, easy to access off the main St Helens linkway. Prices are some of the best in the local area. I always use their premium fuel (Momentum 99) which I personally find excellent.”

After a dreadful experience at Halford's in Newton on 29th August, whom refused to conduct my MOT and service as, apparently, my car was a health and safety risk which was about to blow up, the Horseshoe garage kindly agreed to examine my car on the very same day. The lads there were so helpful and confirmed that, apart from a slight overfill of my fuel tank, there was nothing wrong with my car. Due to my job of a care support worker, I need a car, so the Horseshoe agreed to conduct my MOT 2 x days later and passed it with 1 x small advisory. I would recommend this garage to anyone. Their work, treatment, and service of myself was excellent.”

“The reason I recommend this place is because I rang them on that day regarding a problem with my bmw and I asked if I could take it straight down which was fine to see what the problem was and they explained what was wrong so I have booked the bmw in with them so it can be fixed. They where polite and very welcoming. It is also very clean and easy to find.”

“Don't confuse these wonderful mechanics with the previous incumbent, Mark Walker, who ran the business under the name G W Motors and who made a mess of mine and other people's vehicles and charged a fortune after the death of his father, Gordon who previously owned the garage and was a supreme and conscientious mechanic and man. Anyhow, William and the other mechanics and staff at Haydock Service Centre are very contentious and they swiftly diagnosed and corrected the fault on the breather elbow of my Jaguar S-Type which the previous owners failed to rectify over two years and having my car off the road for seven weeks. William did the job in one day and for a fraction of what I'd been charged before. I'm taking my car back to them on Monday morning for a different job and I recommend them to friends and family.”

“Dropped in on the Monday morning for a 4x4 prop shaft uj’s repair! Sorted it very quickly and reasonably priced. The mechanic I spoke to knew the problem and was very knowledgeable. Several garages in the area did not want anything to do with this repair KH had no issues getting it in and done!!!”
