“Went there after the Tom Jones concert, glad we did. The service as soon as we walked in was excellent. The food was cooked fresh and arrived in just the right length of time to let you know nothing was just ‘warmed’ up. Not usually a doner eater but this changed my mind. So tasty and well presented. Recommended. Will be visiting again”

It is so different to any sushi experience.Not only is the food amazing, flavoursome and unique, the service is 10/10. We went today with my nephew who is two, and they were so accommodating to him even giving him his own little child proof plate and fork as well as some toys to play with. This little local business is one to visit. Cannot recommend enough”

“First time visit to rock city marsh lane and very impressed with the Lamb Curry and Lamb biryani , chef cooked to my preference of medium spice and the lamb was moist almost melt in the mouth . Excellent! Will definitely be back.”

“Mapi cafe has a great open plan and inviting atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming and happy to help. I had a cheese and ham toastie with sticky toffee frappe and a slice of lemon meringue cheesecake it all tssted exquisite. The toastie was the perfect bread ro filling ratio.”

“Ordered Donner Kebab for the missus she loves them said bread is dead fresh doesn't break, salad is fresh and also asked not to cook donner meat on grill and was spot on with that. I had boneless chicken wings with smokey barbecue sauce absolutely lovely. Delivery was in about 10-15 mins and food was still hot. Can't complain at all. Have visited the shop for takeaway a few times and staff are down to earth and polite. Best scran gaff in bootle by far.”
