“The most amazing cafe has relocated to Longton opposite Iceland! The food is amazing, they have different dishes made every day, normally a type of Tagine with lentil soups, the sides are really flavourful too, I did like the chicken Wrap as the taste is unlike any other wraps I have tasted. Tea is must try too, moroccan mint tea is the best. I recommend everyone try this place”

“Went on a Saturday for the lunch, it was quiet at the time, only 3 of us were the customers . We ordered masala dosa, kizhi parotta beef , fish thali and two mango lassi. The place is clean and had a good vibe with music. Food came out within 25 minutes and food was amazing. Portion size is very generous. I think it’s value for the money. Only thing I noted customer service is not up to the standard might need some training on it. Highly recommended if you’re are in to South Indian food.”

Western burger, ingredients felt fresh, great size, really tasty(!!), enjoyed the sauce, really juicy - give the burger that nice taste without running and messing too much!! “Opens at 12, best to arrive around then as it can get busy later. Great selection of food available with a kids menu as well. Food is served quickly and even when busy you do not have to wait long. The staff are friendly, helpfull and quick to clean the tables. Lots of space inside with seating outside as well. Good atmosphere. Great value for money. Regular buses on the road by the carpark.”

“Popped in for a traditional pint of ale while over from Australia visiting my father in hospital. The old style interior added a rustic charm, typical of what you hope to find in an English pub. Didn't eat while I was there but the menu on the table looked like a good selection of pub classics at reasonable prices. Next time I'm in the area I'm definitely going back to the Windmill.”

“Incredible service. I broke down and managed to get my car into the car park at this hotel. Dylan was working the night shift on reception and was so helpful. He was very helpful in getting me any help needed and when I eventually needed to book a room he got this sorted for me very quickly and even accommodated really well for my dog. Then when checking out in the morning, the lady on reception was also incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially for my dog once again. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being so kind and helpful when I was in a tight spot. The best experience I could have from the loveliest staff.”

“The place was very quiet. But given it was 7 pm on a Thursday evening that is not surprising. The young lady that served us was pleasant, attentive and informative regarding the food. The meal was inexpensive but rich in flavour and taste. There is no car park on site but you can park (for £1 in the evening) opposite the entrance to Spode .”
