“My carer goes nearly every week for me and also visits for herself now, we both enjoy the great tasting freshly cooked food. The staff are all friendly and helpful, Thank you all.”
“Just WOW! Recently moved to the area & after seeing the reviews for this place we had to try & it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely stunning, as well as the service. Alberto was so lovely & our lovely waitress Issy was great! This will definitely be a regular of ours!”
“First visit, we will be back! Great food, great service and well priced food and drink. Well worth the trip, cosy yet a real fun place to be.”
“Highly recommend!!! wonderful food. Great dessert, and brilliant service. you should really come.”
“Wonderful place, so happy me and my partner decided to try this hidden gem. Loved the food, dumplings we're insanely good and the bao buns were perfection. Thank you so much, we'll be coming back frequently!”
“Just amazing. Perfect level of attentiveness from staff, atmosphere pitched just right between quiet and noisy (enjoyed listening to post-OK Computer era Radiohead all night!) and the food was incomparable. Every dish was a new and surprising adventure for the tastebuds. Never would have picked Whitchurch as a culinary hotspot but Wild Shropshire is single-handedly making it so.”
“Have been buying bubble tea from here for just over 2 years and this is honestly the best bubble tea place in Stoke!! The customer service is absolutely amazing! I was served by Safa she was extremely kind and made my drinks really quickly. Thank you!!”
“Lovely lunch with very gentle, friendly and relaxed but efficient service. Full of flavour, fabulous quality ingredients, and extremely pretty presentation.”
“Lovely dining experience. Great food and surprised by the large portion size of the roast dinner. Attentive staff. Would highly recommend and will be returning”
“Incredible place, everything we ordered was excellently cooked and felt of high quality. Service was really good, friendly and attentive. Only downside was a slightly lacking atmosphere on 7pm on a Thursday, a night they had a 3 courses for £33 deal on, great value though! Special shout-out on the fish du jour bouillabaisse, that was so good, as was the wild garlic veloutte.”
“Great food, great service and great price. After setting up the caravan at a local site, I called in just after seven o'clock for three large chips, three large plain sausages, large peas and large curry sauce to feed me and the family. We all agreed the food was excellent. Will definitely be calling in again on our next visit to Leek. Highly recommended.”
“I had the pleasure of dining at the Olive Tree Restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. What made the evening even more special was the lovely surprise at the end – a complimentary dessert on the house! It was the perfect sweet touch to round off a perfect meal. I can’t recommend Olive Tree enough – whether it’s a casual meal or a special occasion, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back!”
“Lovely welcome. Spent 2 nights there as a gift. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful rooms. Fabulous food ...probably some of the best we have had, both set lunch and breakfasts. The lovely Hodnet Hall just across the road...do not pass that by and the beautiful village church. Would def return to the Bear Inn and recommend to others and I can't say that about many places for food tbh or accommodation in the Midlands. Alison and Sandra particularly lovely at breakfasts and hats off to all the team members behind the scenes... excellent!”
“Updated review. Glad to see that the same high quality has been transferred to the now relocated restaurant in Cheshire Street. The new larger premises (where the old Town House used to be) are just perfect, with increased capacity and really stunning decor.....even the toilet has received a fantastic makeover. The service is top class, really friendly and attentive and the food is deliciously authentic. Definitely need to book though since is very popular. Bella Italia Market Drayton. What a fantastic little authentic Italian restaurant and a great addition to Market Drayton's culinary offerings, complementing the already excellent nearby Foodshion (oriental) and Pickles (Indian). The fact that it is fairly small, 4 tables of 4 and a table for 6 gives it a really cosy and intimate vibe but with plenty of space between tables to afford privacy. The decor and lighting is quirky and has been really well thought out to provide a great experience for those seeking either a romantic atmosphere or somewhere different for a small celebration with family and friends. The background music was perfect. The menu is an Italian foodies' delight with a great range of beautifully prepared and presented pasta dishes along with a wide selection of meat dishes all at an excellent price. Thankfully not a pizza in sight! We were a party of 5 and shared the house antipasti (a large selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives and bruschetta) followed by various pasta dishes, Tiramisu or coffee all for less than £25 per head! They have a selection of soft drinks including zero alcohol beer, wine and fizz, or you can take your own alcohol. The service was top notch, attentive but not intrusive. This is definitely our new favourite local restaurant and will return very soon.”

“Whenever we are visiting from Scotland, we make a beeline for this bar. It is very warm and welcoming, the beer is good and we just love it!”
“Ordered a cake for a 60th birthday and just wow! Very simple and easy to order over the phone and collect (or have delivered). Cake looked and tasted amazing. Outstanding place and staff, will definitely be back for a milkshake or two. Thank you so much!!”
“Everything about Bacchus is truly amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the staff is just brilliant. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough.”
“Amazing again, had afternoon tea. The quality and quantity are just brilliant. I will keep coming back for more.”
“A real gem of a pub. Had the fortune to be in here when the landlord Steve was able to give the customers a quick history of the pub and his grandmother who ran it for 40 years until she was 80. His rejuvenation of the building is astounding. The attention to detail and historic sympathetic refurbishment is a real nod to the past.”
“Had my 30th birthday here. Perfect place for a small intimate celebration. The place was decorated beautifully, setting the scene and mood. The team were very friendly and to top it off, the cooking was just delicious. The owner is also the chef. She is so friendly. There is plenty of parking and a lovely venue. I would recommend it 100%.”
“We came down to check out the new premises, and it’s great that the delicious food we’ve come to expect of MBC, from their time in the Market Hall, has been paired up with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The personal touch of a friendly face and great service from Grace and Hannah is the icing on the cake. As always the food was excellent, I cannot wait to come back.”
“Honest, quality food prepared with passion. Only a few tables at this lovely tapas restaurant. Highly recommended!”
“Excellent fish and chips. Tasty, cooked just right. I would highly recommend. Really friendly staff, welcoming and helpful. Good value for money too.”
“Unbelievably good service and food. Right next to the motorway so easily accessible for any hungry travellers. A “good morning” when you pop in and “have a good day” when you’re leaving goes a long way. Thanks again to the lovely staff at The Great Sandwich.”
“A great pub. Great food and drink. Landlord is a gentleman and his wife a fantastic cook. I always have the gammon washed down with a few beers. Menu is varied, TVs not too intrusive and a good selection of drinks including the local gin. Take plenty of cash as they do not take cards. (they now take cards, still a fantastic pub:) I would travel to visit this pub but am lucky enough to live 2 mins away!”
“Great B&B with lots of heart! Very friendly owners, and so cosy to stay here in this piece of history. Make sure you go for their Derbyshire Full English breakfast”
“Great evening tonight at Redwood Smokehouse. The food and service was fantastic. We were a table of 9 and each one of us fully enjoyed our food. The platter is a must, gives you a taste of all the delicious smoked meats. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu. Thank you once again for a great evening.”
“Once again we realy enjoyed are viennas thank you veey much very tasty”
