Authentic restaurant experience in Sutton

“Happy to make changes like putting some meat separate and some in a pitta which is really useful, when they are flexible about how the food is given to you and they aren't precious about a set menu. Only thing I'd point out to them is to make sure to use a set of tongs to turn the raw chicken skewers over, and once this is cooked on the outside, move to a different part of the grill and finish it off, by using another pair of tongs. You'd avoid any chance of cross contamination this way. Same goes for the pittas and wraps being warmed up - use another clean pair of tongs to avoid customers having second thoughts about their stomachs getting through the night ok..”

“They're now open on Monday's. Just hot, delicious & authentic Thai food. Will definitely go again & recommend!. It's on a one way system & free to park after 7pm. We had the special salad as below -spicy & crunchy yummy!”

“Had another great meal at Lal Akash. This time I went for the Railway Lamb Curry and it was spot on, tender lamb, rich sauce and just the right amount of spice. You can tell everything’s made with care. The staff were lovely as always, and the place has such a warm, welcoming feel. It’s the kind of restaurant where you instantly feel comfortable. Definitely one of my favourite spots in the area.”

“When I recently moved to Sutton I didn't have all my cooking things the first night so I came here for takeout - the food was delicious and portion size was excellent value for money. My partner moved in shortly after I did & one night got takeout from somewhere else, he was a little disappointed. I told him he should have gone here & the next time we wanted a takeout treat we came here & he loved it as much as I said he would. There's just my partner and myself so we wouldn't be able to eat a family meal between us but the family deals are extremely reasonably priced compared to other places. Each time everything was made fresh as you would expect so there was understandably a short wait but the service was very efficient - highly recommend!”

The food was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. The chef deserves special appreciation — every dish showed great attention to detail and a real passion for cooking. The food was served by Husneil .He was friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The place was clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal. “A really nice place for authentic tasty Indian food. We had a gala time. The food was delicious. The manager very friendly and service professional. We had a three course meal with various starters, biryani and goan prawn curry for mains and pudding and kulfi for deserts with masala tea and coffee. All the dishes were made to taste, generous portions and with personal care. We also had few delicious cocktails while waiting for starters. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for a nice clean place for family dine out with friendly professional service.”

“18/05/24 - Tops Pizza is consistently good. The pizzas aren't doughy like some of their competitors, and they offer good value for money for collection only deals. It is also one of the few places in Sutton where you can get a late night pizza after midnight.”

“We haven’t even left yet and I’m writing this review. We arrived as a family of four with one of our daughters being 2 month old, they were so attentive and gave us a good space for our pram and a good place to dine. The food was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t get enough of the seafood linguine, the waiter even put extra cream in my sauce as requested. My wife and eldest daughter both had pizzas and they were so light and fresh, with both of them devouring them within minutes! We live far away so will struggle to return as soon as we’d like, but we WILL be back!”

“This place is an absolute hidden gem in Sutton. The food is fantastic. It is so so amazingly tasty. The portions were large. We ate in and also did take away, with the standard of food being the same whether eat in or takeaway. The lady serving us was efficient and kind. Lots of Chinese people eat and take away here.. we are now regulars here…. And are slowly tasting everything on the menu… with the Singapore laksa being our favourite.”
