“What a gorgeous store and lovely owner. Came looking for a unique gift for my Mom and left with art for myself too. Had a lovely chat with the owner too and learnt more about what Bless offer by way of events and experiences so I'll look forward to trying some of them.”

    The Slade Cafe

“A great new cafe perfectly situated between winns Common and Plumstead Common. Perfect for a relaxing coffee/tea or snack served by friendly staff. The Latte I ordered was very tasty indeed. The menu is fairly limited in terms of food but you can get egg on toast, croissants and cakes, and the basics, it's still very new so this may change. It's construction is made primarily of glass so feels spacious and fresh. There is a children's playground, nursery, primary school and local convenience stores in the immediate surroundings. seems to be frequented by friendly customers mainly families with babies or young children. You can pay by cash and they also take card/contactless payment. There are steps and a ramp to the entrance so it's accessible to wheelchair users and buggies. In my opinion this coffee shop is in a perfect location and was well needed in this area.”

    Retro Cafe

“I live locally and so I know the Retro Cafe quite well. The prices match the local pubs, cafes and restaurants. User going by the "name" My Labrachildren put 1 star for a full english beans and tea for £15 is completely wrong to have put this. It's quite a large full english and if you ask nicely you might get an extra slice of bacon. Also 1 star for just the price, My Labrachildren you walked out and didn't try it... you should have your local guide star taken away. The hamburger is mega, full of flavour and massive. The pints are quite cheap considering (less than £6), live music twice a week and everyone is super friendly. The cafe/bar itself isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like it!”
