“We’ve lived in the area for almost 2 years now and have tried so many different Chinese takeaways from Uber Eats/Deliveroo and the likes and been quite disappointed. We spotted this place a few days ago whilst driving by and decided we’d try ordering from there later on in the week. We picked up an order from there today and were so impressed with everything we ordered, this is by far the best Chinese takeaway in the area! Highly recommend, every dish tasted incredible. 10/10 (My partner went in to collect the food and said the man working there was very nice :) )”

“We're happy with the service and the wonderful teamwork there. We were shown to a nice sofa seat by Ed for our family of 4 with crayons and colouring paper on the table. Ben was very patient and non judgmental when I found out 2 vouchers of mine got zero balance in it and Dom was very helpful throughout making sure we were being served and brought food to our table swiftly. Samchot saw we have finished our food and politely took away our empty dishes. The team who were cooking were very focused and giving their best to make sure food being cooked properly and customers don't have to wait long. “My husband and I had been to this restaurant a few years ago for our wedding anniversary which was unfortunately cut short as our youngest son had an incident at school (he's SEN) and we hadn't really thought about it again until today. I had booked a table at a Mexican restaurant in Bexleyheath for my birthday and made them aware it was my birthday. I had turned up at the booked time to be told they had a private function and unceremoniously turned away with zero apology or acknowledgement of the trauma they had caused me! I was absolutely devastated but I saw the sign for Il Vesuvio and some new hope burned in me. Whilst the restaurant was fully booked the staff so kindly found us a table we could have for just under two hours and they treated us like royalty! We enjoyed starters and mains from the main and specials menu (we would have had pudding but we were full!) nothing was too much trouble and everything was gorgeous! I enjoyed whitebait and octopus, whilst my family enjoyed vongole, carbonara and calamari. Everything was piping hot, fresh and delicious and they even gave us some complimentary limoncello! I can't believe I had all but forgotten this absolute gem! Thank you for taking my day from despair to joy and I heartily encourage everyone to come to this amazing venue! Thank you so much for making my birthday so special!”

“Very nice interior after the renovation they had, smaller menu than before but I think that lets them focus more effort into making the food that's still there tastier. Prices are very affordable too, can easily get a full meal to feed 1 adult man for roughly £5-£8 depending on choices. Very friendly staff too, also I think an MP attended the re-opening, which was pretty cool too. All the food was cooked fresh right in front of me, and it only took less than 10 minutes for me to get tucked in.”
