    Dr Geoff Collins

“Long overdue review of a phenomenal dentist, & a phenomenal fellow. I started seeing Dr Collins in 2005. He was recommended to me after some truly horrendous dental procedures had left my mouth in a state of near disrepair. The first thing he did was build my confidence in him. He assessed the damage in my mouth, & set about a plan to rebuild my smile. He repaired the serious issues I had, assessing what could be saves, then rebuilt areas, making everything stronger, over a period of a year, leading up to my wedding. For the next 5 years, he continued his regime, making sure I did the best I could, to maintain everything he had done. I left the UK in 2011, lamenting the loss of such a skilled & dedicated Dr in my life. Fast forward to 2023, & a trip back to the UK. A fractured/failed root canal (NOT by Dr Collins) became seriously infected. I contacted him on the coronation bank holiday, where he graciously took my call (despite not working on that day) & fitted me in, first thing the next day. I would have been happy to take some antibiotics & have an extraction back in Australia (after returning) However, assessing the issue, he said there was no way that I could wait that long, as I would be in hospital long before then. He allayed my fears about sinus issues & flying (plane air con' affects me greatly), & removed the tooth. It has been 2 weeks & the extraction site has been healing brilliantly I managed the flight with zero issues, & my face, which had swelling & pain, has completely healed. If anyone has any doubts with their dentist, or is looking for a dentist who is dedicated & truly cares, then look no further than Dr Collins. Thank you Dr! Once again, you have saved my smile!”

““Inspiring our children and community to be the very best that they can be!” As a Trustee I feel really privileged and proud to be involved in this journey. “Inclusive” is not only our name but core to everything we do to help our community fulfil the hopes and dreams of our children. Every day our 3 Watford primary schools – Beechfield, Cherry Tree and Laurance Haines work closely together to create great opportunities which inspire our pupils to learn and develop skills to adapt and succeed in our ever changing world. Each school is very much a part of the local community with its own distinct characteristics and curriculum –we don’t believe that one size fits all but a nurturing philosophy underlines everything we do. As part of a group of schools we provide opportunities for our children to participate and share in exciting projects across the schools – whether sporting, outdoors or creative - for example our art display in Watford Museum or the more recent song written and performed to celebrate and thank Covid-19 key workers. Supporting our people to succeed is a core belief and strength – we are lucky to include former pupils among our teaching staff! Working together enables the sharing and development of best practice whilst addressing workload too. Good career progression is available across the Trust schools. “if you want to go fast, go alone. “We’ve had the best experience at The White House. My son, who is now at a Senior school choosing GCSES, achieved excellent offers thanks to the support of his amazing teachers and the school. My daughter, in her final years, is thriving academically, excelling in sports, and has built strong relationships with peers. The school is like a community and We’re grateful for everything this school has provided and highly recommend it. Be sad to when my daughter’s time comes to an end but all good things …”

“Mr Singhs review: If I would give 10 STARS I would ! Attended a Personal 1:1 open day with the Headteacher Mr Daniel Cowling on Fri 11th June 2021. He is doing a superlative job. Well beyond my expectations. A personal credit to him and his staff. Mr Cowling is highly respected by both staff AND students. - Facilities and Cleanliness of the school is unbelievable. - Brand new resources. - Students have their heads down in all of the classrooms i visited. - Equipment; formidable! All Apple computers and screens. - Well funded and beyond my comprehension. - Wonderful , open, spacious outdoor space. All sports. - Drama rooms excellent. - Main hall ; Mint. - Its a new school less than 7 years old and the buildings are pristine. - Staff extremely polite and attentive. My son attends a grammar school in Slough and this state school is far better !!! I didnt think I would be stating that. Ive even surprised myself. Keep up the excellent work , and Well done Mr Cowling & everyone at Oak Wood. "If you aint got no discipline, you aint no disciple."”

“My daughter benefited greatly from attending . She received personalised attention and her confidence was greatly improved as a result . Areas of concern were highlighted on a regular basis and the tutors worked closely with me to make sure she got the best out of the course . I would highly recommend not only for independent school entry but also for a strong academic foundation .”
