“Having attended merryhills for 7 years I have made loads of friends and learnt so much. They gave a good well rounded education and prepared me for secondary school. All of the teachers are nice and very good at teaching. I was given lots of different opportunities in sport e.g. Football (I went to Tottenham training ground a number of times) Athletics and district sports. The school were very fair and I loved my time at merryhills.”

“My daughter has been attending BHCPS for a year and a half now. The staff are extremely hard-working and contentious . The continuing cuts to budgets and the slow drain of experienced staff out of the teaching profession has made life difficult for all our schools, but I can honestly say that BHCPS continues to provide an excellent standard of education. I'm impressed by the (interim) head-teacher and hope that she is encouraged to apply for the position on a permanent basis.”

“My daughter had a wonderful time at St Christopher's, having attended from nursery until the end of year 2. She was so sad to leave at the end of her time at this lovely school and remembers it fondly. The teachers are so kind and supportive. We had some challenges in our journey, as my daughter has additional needs. This was picked up by staff at St Christopher's, who then worked with us on getting her an EHCP and the 1:1 support that she needed. With the right support in place, she was able to continue to thrive at St Christopher's. We loved going to "Sharing our Learning" days, school assemblies and Christmas productions that were almost fit for the West End! Throughout the whole of my daughter's time at St Christopher's, the school felt like extended family. I feel very fortunate that my daughter was able to go to such a lovely school.”

“I love the school and my children as well. When my daughter started nursery she didn't know a single word in English, but the whole school, from the children to the teachers to the management, supported her so well she never felt like she was left behind and she improved quickly. Being she a Summer baby, learning could have been hard for her, but she's doing so well and the teachers are supporting and encouraging her so much, I couldn't be happier. My son is in nursery now and he literally loves to go, he's also improving so quickly. The whole school is caring and very careful about the children's behaviour and their safety. I love the fact it's like a big family, with all the grown ups, from the lunch helpers to the head teacher, knowing every single child by name. I wouldn't change the school for any reason and I highly recommend it.”
