“My sons have attend the nursery one is shy and the other very lively and not so shy! The nursery has been really good in teaching and using creativity. My son is always bring home drawings and creations and loves seeing them at home. He really loved a counting book that nursery made that he brought home. Really helped with his counting. Staff are friendly and responsive to parents questions.”

“Great staff, l remember when my baby got his BCG , it was a cold and rainy day but it ended up being a good day for my baby and l , the place was conducive for breastfeeding and relaxing and the staff were all so nice ,my baby was still a newborn and l was exhausted but that day my energy was boosted and made me more confident of going out and wanting to attend more class.”

“My son started Abbey Wood Grange Day Nursery at 8 months old, i was so nervous when I first started looking for nursery’s, so I could plan to return back to work. I viewed so many nursery’s in the area, Abbey Wood Grange day nursery had something over them all, for me it was the attention to detail & care from staff. On my viewing with Lisa she was so welcoming, enthusiastic and had a real sense of care. lisa knew all the children’s names when we entered the rooms. Staff was all friendly an engaged with all the children. Staff are all so friendly & welcoming, my son settled in really quickly and formed great bonds. He really loves being at nursery and gets all excited when we arrive. I get regular updates daily in his book from the day & updates on the tapestry app showing observations & his development. I honestly couldn't be more happier with the level of service from the nursery & staff at abbey wood. I know his well looked after, It really is a lovely nursery. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to put their baby or child into a nursery.”

“My son attended this preschool since he was 3 year old until school age. I can't describe in my words how greatful I am to all the staff for what they have done for my son. They were caring, understanding and loving. My son tried 2 nurseries before and wouldn't settle in, so I asked the predchool manager for longer settling in period. They understood and allowed my son to take his time. They encouraged him to develop at his own pace, provided interesting resources and activities ans were there for him when he needed help. The preschool is substantially staffed. My son made his first friendships here. He continues seeing his preschool friends at church. It's nice to be part of the community. The preschool teachers are well experienced in special needs and have understanding, and can provide support.”

“A big thank you to the all team in totstars! We organised our daughter 4th birthday party and we had an amazing experience. Kids enjoyed the staying... there was music, lots of decorations and party food was good and fresh. Our daughter has amazing memories about her party and great time with her friend in Totstar.... “Both my children have attended MMI and I cannot recommend this nursery more highly. My son joined at 2 when we moved to the area and stayed until he started in reception. He can be a little anxious in new settings but in no time, MMI became like a second home for him and he couldn’t wait to go every day. The Montessori setting meant that he was able to explore what interested him most, and he developed real interests and passions that have stayed with him into school. He also formed some very strong friendships that have lasted years after leaving, despite some of them going to different schools. My daughter started at 9 months old and will again stay until she starts school next year. At the gates, I barely get a kiss goodbye as she runs in to see her friends, (again she has a very close knit group that she sees socially as well) and she comes home each day with stories of the games she’s played and conversations she’s had. She is a much more fiery character than my son (hey there second child!), and can be quite stubborn and set in her ways, but all the staff have gone out of their way to try and accommodate her, especially when it comes to her fussy eating! She also had a severe dairy allergy when she started, and all the team were extremely cooperative in making sure that her needs were met to avoid flare ups, or manage them when they did. Across both my children I have seen that the staff care hugely about the children’s development, education and their sense of belonging. Mine have always felt incredibly safe there and MMI is clearly a place of fun and excitement for them. When my son first started, it was mid-Covid, and perhaps there was a little staff turnover - as all businesses had, but on the whole, many of the staff have been there for years and there is a lot of continuity for the children. They still come to say hello to my son when he’s at the gates picking my daughter up, and sometimes take him inside to find her, which he loves. Lastly, I also feel that MMI has a very fair sickness policy, much less harsh than I’ve seen at other nurseries, which means for working parents our lives aren’t too easily derailed, every time a new bug is picked up! I am so happy that I found MMI when I did, I can see that my children have both flourished there, and I’m extremely thankful to Aleks, who manages the nursery, and her wonderful team for all that they do to create such a warm and fostering environment.”
