“Went in to Split Endz last week and was told by the owner that it's better to book an appointment, so i booked one for today. She doesn't do fresh cuts, so I had mine washed, cut and then blow dried, all the while wearing a black jacket covering and then a pink towel over my shoulders. I had long hair and wanted my hair to be cut to shoulder length and straight all the way across, which all cost £30. And as Lisa started cutting the back, she showed me with mirrors how it looks so far and asked if I was happy with the length or for it to be cut a bit more. The atmosphere, people who came in and the owner herself felt friendly and comfortable to be around and all throughout Lisa and I had good conversation about her shop and she answered any questions I had about hair. Remember Lisa, take the supplement Biotin for strong finger nails and head hair! (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧ At the end of the haircut I was surprised to see no stray hairs on my clothes, like it would usually happen when I go to the hairdressers, so you can honestly just go to this salon and then leave to go about your day, without having to change your clothes again. I had a pleasant first time experience here at this hairdressers and look forward to the next time I go in again.”

“I visited Inks and Needles in April ‘24 to get a tattoo from Jay, we messaged each other about the design beforehand. Jay’s enthusiasm for his art is absolutely infectious. Everything was clean and hygienic, the aftercare was explained throughly and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I have every intention of coming back for another tattoo as soon as I figure out what I want to have done. While having my tattoo, I noticed the piercer, working with a client. I liked how he talked her through the piercing so decided, spur of the moment to have a helix done. Sandro was happy to talk me through the process, we discussed my existing piercings & he advised me on the most suitable piece for my ear. He explained the cleaning process and advised me to come back to have the bar shortened after 6+ weeks which I did. I recently had to undergo surgery so immediately went to Sandro to have my piercings changed out for plastic retainers. Yesterday I went back again to have the piercings changed back and took the opportunity to have another helix. Again, Sandro was wonderful, helping me choose a huggie for the helix he’d done in April and a cute little flower for the new helix. Everyone at Inks and Needles is so friendly, very professional and extremely knowledgeable, you immediately feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I have recommended Inks and Needles to everyone and anyone who has asked about my piercings and tattoos. Lovely bunch of people!”

“A really nice, local family run restaurant. The Sunday roast is great! They even catered for me being a vegetarian, by giving me some Quorn Sausages with all the roast veg and gravy. My wife and Nan had the roast beef, which I as really tender and well cooked. Our Son had a tower chicken burger, so we were all looked after and catered for. They seem to have a great breakfast and lunch menu, with teas and coffees also available. We look forward to going back. Thanks.”

“My favorite place with Indian cuisine! Garlic naan is amazing, I often ask for extra garlic and it's absolutely amazing! I always take Butter Chicken, full of spices and flavors, and the more spicy Chilli Paneer, and it's great! The portions are good, the prices are very affordable for such delicious food. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant and I visit this place regularly. If you haven't tried it, you must!”

“Beautiful decor and friendly service, my mums not well and I was craving some comfort noodles. I wanted some Chinese after so long and this was so good, I got the stir fried egg noodles chicken with extra black bean sauce and chilly . Food was hot and fresh and veg was nice and crispy and they followed my notes perfectly. Food actually tasted fresher than other places and was packed well. “We had a wonderful experience at Indian Gastro Kitchen @ Kingsfield Arms! It was our first time visiting, and despite the restaurant being busy, the team went out of their way to accommodate us. My daughter had just flown in from Japan, and we needed an extra seat—without hesitation, they made it happen. I believe it was the owner or manager who welcomed us so warmly; she was incredibly thoughtful and gave that rare personal touch you don’t always find these days. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and kind throughout. It has a lovely, family-friendly atmosphere and is very local to us, which is a bonus. “A Perfect Sunday Surprise! We dropped into Dawat on a Sunday night without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming — attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. To top it all off, there was a fantastic live band playing, which gave the evening an extra spark. “Having known Arjun the chef from Everest and other places then to hear he is at dragons lounge so since then have been coming to DL for the last year. This weekend they hosted a party of 60 of us and from start to finish Arjun and his colleagues have been brilliant. They catered for all our needs and even last minute changes they didn’t get upset about. The food was exceptional. Chilli Garlic Mogo, aloo papdi chaat to the mains veg tawa etc I have had numerous messages from family members saying the food was great and that they all had a great time.
