“I have lived in the local area for a number of years and have seen this fish and chips shop operate under different management a few times. I popped in yesterday for fish and chips and sausages and was completely taken by surprise, the shop looks amazing, really really amazing. The family who run the business (Dad and three sons) were all working and were very welcoming. The menu has everything you would expect, and they still serve fried chicken (yum). The prices are as you would expect, no meal deals as yet - but they have only recently opened so maybe something for the future. The chips are delicious... really moreish. I heard once that you can judge a fish and chips restaurant by the chips and they were an accurate indication of the quality of the food. Fish portion was perfectly cooked and larger then expected, batter was light and fluffy, as with the battered sussage. Savaloy had the desired initial crunch while not being dry. I wish I had taken a photo of the place to go with the review. If you live locally have a walk past - looks amazing.”

“We attended the Breakfast with Santa today with our children, it was truly amazing. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was faultless. “I honestly can't speak highly enough of this place, a real gem of a shop with a very traditional feel. They have put carpets in the whole of the upstairs and the quality is really fantastic. We went for a thicker carpet in the main bedroom and it really was worth it although the other carpets are also excellent. The customer service has been brilliant and provided a very personal touch and the fitters were a pleasure to have in the house. Thank you so much, highly recommended.”
