“When our previous practice management, tax return and accounts production software became prohibitively expensive, I canvassed views from other practitioners and the overwhelming recommendation was BTC for everything except accounts production, which they didn't have at the time. Although I wasn't keen on a non-integrated solution the cost savings were huge so I bit the bullet. What I found was that not only is BTC simpler to use and just as comprehensive as our previous system in the areas it covered, it also integrates quite seamlessly into the AP package we took on at the same time. For probably 20% of the price, it does a better job! I still don't like the AP package we chose but it works, just a bit clunky. When I get time I must try the BTC equivalent which has now been launched. I also need to comment on the BTC customer service and technical support. Our IT providers 'upgraded' our server and messed up access to the BTC history files. Going far beyond the call of duty, BTC worked with them to fix everything that had been messed up, so that within a couple of days everything was working smoothly again. The only reason I rate BTC 5 stars is because there isn't a 6 to choose.”
