Investment directors at CC are active on the boards of their respective investee companies, which gives the investor confidence that growth is prioritised and optimised within these companies. With respect to the review below, this does not reflect my experience or investment outlook. The job of CC is to maximise portfolio returns on behalf of the investors. Investment returns should not be crystallised before the point of sale and I would not expect, nor want, my investment gain to be ‘realised’ before the investment director indicates he has maximised my investment. It is made clear from the outset that these returns will be actualised at the point of sale (which invariably depends on the nature of the investment). Warren Buffet famously said “If you aren't willing to own a stock for 10 years, don't even think about owning it for 10 minutes.” I would add that my maturation period fell well within this time, however the same ethos should apply here! In my experience CC has always acted with respect and integrity and I hold the team in high regard.”
