“I had the pleasure of attending a performance by Peer Productions last night, featuring my son Max, and it was nothing short of amazing. Peer Productions have launched a new youth theatre in April 2024, and based on last night's show, I can confidently say they are set to make a significant impact on the community. This term, the company has been focusing on providing opportunities for 16 young people aged 13-18 in Surrey, particularly those who might otherwise be unable to access extracurricular activities. The dedication and passion of both the participants and the team were evident in every aspect of the performance. Over the course of the project, the young performers have honed their performance and devising skills, culminating in a truly impressive show. It was heartening to see the creativity, confidence, and teamwork on display, making it a memorable evening for all in attendance. Peer Productions not only nurtures young talent but also fosters a supportive and inclusive environment. “My son has been at Fennies Woking for almost a year and a half. From the moment we walked in and met the staff, we felt like we were part of a loving community. Leaving your child to work full-time is so incredibly hard, but knowing that they are happy and loved all day everyday has been a massive weight off my shoulders. We have watched him grow and develop so amazingly between the support and love he gets at home and the support and love he gets from Fennies’ staff. He has been so lucky with not only the best key workers (we are forever in their debt), but each member in the rooms has formed a relationship with us and he clearly has a bond with each of them. My son had a seizure in the room and the staff not only kept him safe and had all been trained, they got on to the ambulance immediately and helped save his life with the way they handled it. Would have given them 6 stars but Google caps it at 5! :)”
