βHi, Iβve been a member of Chingford Nuffield gym for a couple of years but only recently invested in personal training with Debi Christopher. She is so lovely and Iβve definitely chosen such a good fit for my needs. I ask a lot of questions and she always answers them with knowledge and professionalismβ¦ And patience! Within a couple of sessions I could feel both mentally and physically the impact of what she was helping me with in terms of joint pain and level of fitness. My motivation to use the gym and my confidence has improved no end and I would highly recommend Debbiβ
βHigh standard of learning and the best school for 11 + children to get in as a sports and science college .β
βFabulous venue for events. Great service, well thought out space and excellent location.β
βAs of writing this review, I'm a Year 12 student who's been in the school for almost six years, and I'm taking A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Computer Science and French. Thus, I feel I'm more experienced than most other reviewers to talk about the school. Firstly, let me say that this is no grammar or private school. Not everyone's parents have hundreds of thousands of pounds to send their children, and not everyone finds irrational joy in studying eight hours a day every day after school. Most people are just your average person, but for me, that's perfect. You'll get to know most of the people in your year, and perhaps in the years above and below you, too. Friendship groups form quickly and easily, and many are happy to accept other students. In the older years (Year 10 onwards), people start to socialise with others outside their friendship group, and I enjoy the social scene here. In my case, being able to talk to extremely talented people is an opportunity I wouldn't exchange for anything: I've grown attached to my friends as though they were family. And, while not everyone here is a four A*-type student, we certainly get those types: every year, we have students who get all A*s and go off to Oxford or Cambridge. If you aspire to be one of those students, don't write off Claremont just because you think you'll do better by going to another school! The teachers are also incredibly polite, for the most part. (Of course, there are teachers who the younger students would consider strict, but as you grow older, you'll see that it's just the different teaching personalities they adopt, and in reality, they aren't really that strict after allβyour class were just really annoying!) They devote plenty of time and effort into ensuring every student succeeds academically and as a person. Their lessons are usually very well-planned, but their devotion to their students truly shines when one of them asks for help or discusses a topic with a teacher that they're both passionate about. This is especially helpful in the Sixth Form, where you'll often find yourself wanting to stimulate your own interest in the subject! Every week, we also hold competitions and clubs for all lower years, from sports to chess; we also have a few more unorthodox ones such as a cybersecurity/hacking club. The extracurricular scene is a bit lacking for the Sixth Form, though, but since you're allowed to leave when you don't have lessons, you probably won't need it. We have an active student body which includes a Prefect Team and a Student Voice, both of which allow students to suggest changes to improve the school. And while Claremont is by no means perfect, I thoroughly enjoy my time here, and I could not imagine having a better experience at any other school.β

βThis school has changed my child's life! When they started at this school they were anxious, scared and not doing any learning. Now they love school, adore the staff and are learning lots! They have achieved more than I ever imagined they could. Blessed to have found this school :-)β

βHave been attending Aqua Aerobics with the lovely Linda and it's always fun and a great workout. Linda's a fantastic instructor and knows the names of all the people who attend her classes and all new people to the classes are made to feel really welcome . Would highly recommend Linda's classes. The lovely staff on reception are always friendly and helpful and helped me sort out an issue with my monthly pass.β
βEasy in and out. The parking can be busy. Nice staff.β

βThis one hundred million pound school has been given away to a Tory Donor, & the man responsible in the corrupt Tory Government for Academies.Lord Nash, in a fixed Ofsted/DoE theft of public assets. If this happened in the third world, Russia or the Middle East we would call it what it is CORRUPTION...β
βThe gym staff here are outstanding. I would like to single out Ula in particular who, after I injured my knee, put me on a special programme. Weeks later I attended a physio at the hospital who said I was on the road to recovery. Full marks to her. Pity about the state of the pool.β
βGreat School - Fantastic inclusion departmentβ
βCircuit Training Fitness Class with Fabiana on Saturdays is extremely good! She is very professional, kind and supportive, and attentive! The circuit exercises are smart and good. Fabiana put efforts to explain it very well and with kindly manner which in my eyes makes it a good coaching. Also Strength Fitness Class with Albi on Sundays (he also works together with Fabiana on Saturday circuit often) is amazing. He is very kind and knowledgeable. I can approach him and ask any questions and he is so happy to demonstrate, support and teach with training techniques. Iβve already learned a lot because of his and Fabianaβs guidance. I love them! They connect and engage with people and thatβs how it should be done. You actually leave the session knowing more and stronger. I recommend classes with them to everyone! Thank you β€οΈβ

Bus take long and traffic is terrible opening the school is a good way to ensure many students absence go on recordβ
βUnless you are given 20 substitute teachers in one year, you will do fineβ
