“Trained and experienced staff , always ready to respond to our child’s individual needs. As a Mum I would like to say Thank you for all your hard work and for creating such a positive and stimulating environment for the children . Deyar and Nazira ( beautiful ladies with beautiful hearts) have been very supportive and positive towards my child throughout the years. The graduation ceremony was very special heartwarming celebration of the children's accomplishments and a lovely way to mark their transition to the next stage of their learning journey. The children looked adorable in their gowns and mortarboards. The ceremony was well-organized and created a memorable experience for both the children and their families. We love this nursery and all the staff♥️”

““Inspiring our children and community to be the very best that they can be!” As a Trustee I feel really privileged and proud to be involved in this journey. “Inclusive” is not only our name but core to everything we do to help our community fulfil the hopes and dreams of our children. Every day our 3 Watford primary schools – Beechfield, Cherry Tree and Laurance Haines work closely together to create great opportunities which inspire our pupils to learn and develop skills to adapt and succeed in our ever changing world. Each school is very much a part of the local community with its own distinct characteristics and curriculum –we don’t believe that one size fits all but a nurturing philosophy underlines everything we do. As part of a group of schools we provide opportunities for our children to participate and share in exciting projects across the schools – whether sporting, outdoors or creative - for example our art display in Watford Museum or the more recent song written and performed to celebrate and thank Covid-19 key workers. Supporting our people to succeed is a core belief and strength – we are lucky to include former pupils among our teaching staff! Working together enables the sharing and development of best practice whilst addressing workload too. Good career progression is available across the Trust schools. “if you want to go fast, go alone. The John Locke Academy

“I have two children at this school, one in Yr. 2 and the other just started Reception having attended the Nursery. Both of them throughly enjoy attending and learning in this environment and it constantly amazes me just how varied their knowledge has become. From day one (2years ago) when there were only 43 4 year olds, to this day of over 250 pupils, there has been a consistent and tenacious focus on delivering the best learning for all of its pupils. The leadership team are warm and welcoming, making themselves highly visible at the school gate and always willing to listen to parents' views or offer advice. They have set out a strong set of values and life skills which are positively reinforced across the school in a consistent way from class teacher to whole assembly. For some of these traits the children are asked to behave like a particular ' Learnasaur ' character such as the Tryasaurus who is always willing to try new things or a Sharadactyl who shares their learning resources. Both my kids have really engaged with this type of encouragement and it is commonplace to hear us talking about them at home. All the staff that have been recruited display a huge passion for delivering the best experience for the children, whether they're dinner ladies, site managers or have office roles. The teaching staff are great and display the same understated professionalism day in day out, they have embraced the opportunity this new school presents and are working well together to deliver a first class education. Mr Butler's musical influences have shown themselves many times over the last couple of years during assemblies and Nativity plays. My personal highlight was last years Year 1 performance which involved the whole year group, lasted over 40 mins and was incredible to watch, it was hard to believe we were watching 6 year olds as the performance level and engagement across the whole group was so strong and mature. Other highlights from last year included the children asking Boris Johnson some tough questions when he visited the school and the Pupils performing their 'Big Dance' at the summer fayre.”

“My son went here for about 5 months. He isn’t very sociable and is very attached to me but at this nursery he flourished! I loved seeing all pictures that were uploaded throughout the day. He learnt so much about trees, mushrooms and wildlife during his forest school time! He also loved doing sports on a Friday. I couldn’t recommend the butterfly patch more. This nursery has truly made a huge impact on myself and my son! Thank you so much to all the staff for taking such good care of my baby❤️”

“Wonderful school and staff who aims for the best academic achievements for kids. Staff is providing the bes possible medical care for children with medical needs. I was quite confident to leave my child after knowing the care plan & process that school has put in place following his major surgery that restricted him from many physical activities. Mrs Sukhbir Lalli cares for kids nothing less than her own kids.”
