“Where else can you go and eat a big lunch, a bottle of cider, and a dish of ice cream and strawberries for eleven quid? Spoons is spoons, you know what you're getting and you get it every single time. Consistent, quick, cheap. No nasty surprises. Lovely staff. Absolutely zero complaints. Thank you!”

“went to the George II for Mother's Day. Fantastic atmosphere, live singer. The Carvery was also exceptional and congratulate the Chef. Food was hot, good quality and plenty of it and options. The food was better than top London restauants iv been to which I would compare to San Lorenzo's which was Lady Di's favourite well the food and presentation was better than San Lorenzo's. Would highly recommend, On Mother's Day it was heaving but the staff worked so hard and the service wasn't compromised nor was the food.”

“Visiting from SE London and meeting up with a friend and this is one of the friendliest bars I’ve ever visited. Owners introduced themselves on entry and table service ensued with great discussion around the beers available. A small range of lovely Belgian beers was available this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t fault this place in any way.”
