“Started at Roger Gracie academy about 3 months ago now with a friend and haven't looked back. What an amazing place with even more amazing people. I've never been made to feel more welcome anywhere in my life as I do here. Mike and dave teach amazing very easy to understand classes for adults and children. If I had one wish in life, it would be to have started Jiujitsu sooner.”

“Went to watch Cinderella over the Christmas period. The cast were brilliant and the script very well written. As others have mentioned, the ugly sisters were the stars of the show with lots of interaction with the audience. Overall, very good value for money on the initial purchasing of tickets and what the play delivered. I wasn't sure on the parking arrangements and it appears limited where you can park but there were some spaces behind and around the row of shops. We caught the bus to the local precinct and walked the 10 minutes so that is a viable option. The venue itself has food and drink on sale that is very reasonably priced and you can pay both with cash and card. It is a small venue that until recently I did not know even existed. It's intimate and seating, while seen better days, was adequate and even after the near 3 hours being there, was not feeling uncomfortable. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with family”

“We popped by to browse around the shop for car seats and prams. Laura was super helpful and on top of that she mentioned an antenatal course held in the store. We booked it and highly recommend it to expectant parents (great value!). The course is led by Rachel, an experienced midwife, an absolute star and wonderful woman. The classes are so well organised, informative and all in a lovely atmosphere. All thanks to Bashy, the shop owner, Rachel and Lauren. Thank you so much ladies for making our journey richer in this lovely experience.”

“Holyrood Salford have been a great support whilst our daughter has been settling in and she’s settled in just fine. She loves it. We really like the fact that a lot of play is outside where kids can be kids and get the fresh air they need. Our daughter skips in and comes home smiling telling us all about her day ‘at work’. We feel content and reassured leaving our daughter there with such brilliant and highly qualified staff. :)”

“My two elder grandchildren went here and my youngest one is about to start. As a family we have been completely impressed and delighted by the care and development the children receive. We particularly love the amount of time the children spend outside in virtually all weathers. When we first saw inside I was i was surprised that there didn't seem to be many commercially bought toys, but came to realise that they don't need them as they use materials and the world around them as their toys. “I wanted to get my 8 year old into something to keep her active and something she enjoys as seen her dancing a lot when watching you tube. Searched on google as you do and came across JD dance and it was the best thing I ever did. The staff are amazing the owner Jenny is wonderful and everyone who is a part of JD dance are so welcoming feel a part of a big family now and would recommend to anyone.”

“I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 20 years and was quite nervous, but I was made to feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in, from the lovely Lisa on reception to the dentist Helin and her assistant Andrea! The whole team were welcoming, kind, and professional. I was given the best advice and felt really well looked after throughout my visit. “I have just finished the term studying A1.2 at Cervantes and plan to pick it back up in autumn as I really enjoyed it. The classes were good and Ana was such a great teacher. The only negative I have is that the library books are only available to rent for half the semester.”

“Come one lunchtime (Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday in term time) to the carol Nash hall to enjoy competent students from Chethams music school. Tickets (free) available on line. There’s soup and a roll available in the foyer for £3.50 in a cup. The music will be classical and perhaps be unknown to some but it’s marvellous to sit in a comfortable modern space. I’ve never so far, been to an evening concert there but intend to now. It’s very handy for Victoria train/ tram station.”

“I’ve been a huge Crystal Maze fan since I was a child and this place is very authentic and true to the original game. We were a party of 4 and everyone got to play at least 4 games while travelling around the 4 zones. My only critique is that I feel like there should be some sort of prize at the end or a scoreboard or something as it felt like a bit of an anticlimax. It is quite a treat to spend so much money on 90 minutes of entertainment, but truly, I would do it again. I loved it!”
