“My daughter and her friend did the 2 day level 1 sailing course and loved it. To have these water sports opportunities in the middle of a City is fantastic.”
“Best swimming club for all ages . In just a few weeks my grandchildren are already more confident in the water”
“Peel Park was the first public park in the United Kingdom to be officially opened, with all funds raised from public subscription. It was created in 1846 and was free to use, connecting together all Salford residents .”
“A great location for a family walk. There's a free car park and small visitor centre/cafe. We did a full loop around the water before playing at the park. There were horses and donkeys in the field next to the car park and the kids enjoyed going up to the fence to say hello.”
“Nice family park - I liked it because of the central lake and it's tucked within a residential estate. Cute.”
“I’ve coming here for about four years now, and I love the place. The organisation, people taking part. Friendly and willing to help with any questions that you may have!!! David and Karen and the rest of the team are awesome imo!!”
“I loved the walk with my dog good for them to be off lead they love new places”
“A lovely place to go for peace and quiet, a picnic and a stroll. It's lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, even if only for an hour or so. Could do with more picnic benches in different areas around the lake. Only complaint is irresponsible dog owners, not picking after their dogs.”
“Beautiful place. A large play area for the younger ones. Sand too, zip line, tennis field and plenty of walking, dog friendly.”
“Yoga is my best part of all exercises”
“A park near M60 with a few on-street parking bays. The park is clean and so relaxed to walk around. Also, there is a tree trail in the park and you may find birds and squirrels in it.”
“The park was absolutely amazing! It helped me forget all my stress and just enjoy the beauty of nature. The serene atmosphere and stunning views of the city made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. A must-visit for anyone looking for peace and natural beauty!"”
“You can get both first and second jabs of your vaccine here. Both Astrazenica and Pfizer are available in this site but you need to check the Salfold NHS website to find out what kind of vaccine is available on the day you want to attend.”
“Attended with university. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely little place with really good quality pitches.”
“10/10 - The Stay Inn Manchester is everything you want from a budget hotel, but much, much more. Right on the doorstep of the City Centre, and very affordable. Where this ‘Budget’ Hotel differs from others in the field, is that this one is supremely well run, with an array of truly fantastic staff, for who, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks during a difficult house move, and The Stay Inn Manchester bent over backwards to accommodate us, and help us during this very busy time. Friendly - Clean - Fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend this Hotel to you.”
