“We have been coming to Oasis for about 11 years now and have always been impressed by the quality of stock and the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. We have both tropical and marine tanks, having originally been new to marine fish keeping and we wouldn’t have been able to make the transition without the help and support of the staff. We would to offer a huge thanks to everybody, in particular Steve, Gareth & Patrick!”

“I was born and bred in Thailand and this is the best Thai fusion food you’ll ever find in Manchester - It is a little pricey but it’s well worth it for a special night out. I cannot find any Thai restaurant in Manchester that offers Kao-Soi(Northern-style curry noodles) and Sai-Oua (lemongrass and herbs sausage) on the menu! I was very impressed with how they executed both. Went twice and will return. Cocktails are nice too.”

“Came in for a coffee and bag of coffee beans. Aidan is really friendly and his shop has a really cool vibe. The coffee is good and I can see myself hanging out here more often post-lockdown, or attending one of the events that Aidan is planning once things start to open back up. If you’re a local, go and grab a coffee and show some support!”

“Love this pub inside and out. It’s got so much history and charm. The building used to be the Manchester & Salford Children’s Mission back in Victorian times, where they ran a kitchen for kids and the homeless. Now it’s this brilliant underground pub, and you can still see the old glazed brick walls when you head downstairs, which just adds to the atmosphere. I’d love to see more of that story told inside. There are a few old photos up, but no info with them... a bit of context would make it even better. Doesn’t put me off going though, it’s still one of my favourite spots in Manchester.”

“Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. “I did put a review in on another site but I thought I’d get my Google one in, this was from a few months ago. This place was absolutely amazing and I really mean it, one of the best bars I’ve ever been to. The music was spot on and the decor was amazing. It really did embody Manchester at its finest. The bartender who opened up was class and quite hilarious and when the other ones turned up they were just the same. The cocktail menu is literally perfect and the ghostbuster sharer is just so worth the price it’s unreal. The only note I could make is that they don’t do food, if they did…. It could be a contender for the place place in Manchester but I understand it’s a bar not a restaurant and they don’t wanna expand by building a kitchen and hiring chefs etc.”

“Stayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didn’t get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. I’ve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, I’d be happy to stay again.”

“I recently stayed at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The service throughout my stay was excellent — staff were attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, making for a very pleasant stay. What really makes this hotel stand out is its beautiful building and rich history. Housed in a stunning Grade II listed Victorian building, the architecture and design carry a timeless charm. The interiors blend classic character with modern luxury perfectly — the high ceilings, ornate details, and stylish décor keep the historic essence alive while still feeling contemporary and inviting. Overall, it’s a perfect mix of history, comfort, and elegance right in the heart of Manchester. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable stay with a touch of heritage.”

“We visited Australasia for our anniversary and had the most incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stunning—chic, warm, and intimate—perfect for a special occasion. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, and the mocktails were just as creative and delicious. What really made the evening unforgettable was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our night special. They even surprised us with a gorgeous “Happy Anniversary” dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. Australasia exceeded all our expectations, and I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for exceptional food, amazing service, and a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Their kobida with naan was perfect — juicy, well-seasoned, and the naan fresh and just soft enough to soak up all the flavors. The chicken shawarma had that smoky, tender texture I look for, and the chicken tikka with rice was excellent: moist pieces of chicken, fragrant spices, and the rice was fluffy and fragrant. Overall: great food, good portion sizes, and I’ll definitely be going back. Highly recommend if you like Afghani / Middle Eastern-style dishes done well. Love, Ayesha TikTok : @ayeshshahnawaz”

“My sister and I attended a Thai cookery experience at Thaikhun in Soinningfields Manchester. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole session. It was very well organised starting with a hot drink on arrival and a cocktail or mocktail with the main course that we had cooked. Noon and Layla were excellent teachers, explaining all the ingredients and processes in detail and making the whole experience interesting and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this as a fun thing to do with family and/or friends. We left with an apron, a book of recipes, a 15% discount voucher for the restaurant and leftovers from the starter and main course we had cooked.”

The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable. I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu. Definitely a new favorite spot!”
