For some the food could be on the spicy side as there is a lot of fresh chilli on many dishes so just ask for less or more Even the dessert was surprisingly good”

“I came here for my birthday meal and I would recommend to anyone, the service was lovely everything was well explained without being overbearing, tablets are intuitive and easy to order from. We ordered 5 dishes each for £21 per person which gave us 10 to share between us and we struggled to finish, for small plates they’re very filling. Though we ordered primarily sushi, there’s lots of variety in flavours and options for dietary restrictions so there’s something everyone would be happy with here. “I had the best pizza and garlic bread I've ever had. The menu is bigger than most national chains and this makes pizzabaker all the better. There is no BBQ based pizza on the menu but all I had to do was ask and it was done, I had a chicken feast and it was amazing, so tasty. The garlic bread was great, so light and fresh, easily the freshest dough I've ever had. I will be back, very soon”

“If you’re in Media City this shop is definitely worth a visit. It is an Outlet store so you will see some of the clothing you’d find in the bigger stores on the high street but much cheaper. I am happy to say they usually have my size too which isn’t always the case in outlet stores. I have put a couple of photos up but they don’t really do the place justice. If you’re in Media City it’s worth popping in even if you’re not looking for anything in particular because there are loads of clothes here. The staff are unfailing polite and helpful and there is a car park attached to the shopping mall here. Thanks for reading”

“It’s pricier than places like itsu for sushi but it’s loads better. Best meal is the chicken curry, they heat it for you and it’s the best meal you can buy for lunch within a 15 minute walk of my office. Costs about £8 but would work great as a dinner if you wanted it. Service can be a bit slow, blunt and disorganised but I bet staff are rushed off their feet. Don’t know why people don’t shout about Nudo more.”

“I’m a DJ currently on tour around the UK and stopped by Slow Boat for a quick bite and honestly, it was one of the best takeaway meals I’ve had on the road. The food was amazing, packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken were absolutely top-tier, crispy, well-seasoned, and full of that classic wok-fried flavour. The staff were so polite and helpful, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers. Great portion sizes, fair prices, and everything came out fresh and hot. Highly recommend Slow Boat if you’re anywhere nearby, proper comfort food and great service all around.
