“Good shop, never too cluttered always has something on sale aswell which is brilliant if your struggling but want to treat the kids to something new. Staff are always friendly I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone and I’ve been coming to the shop for 8/9 years ish. It’s always clean too never dusty things on shelves, I recently was missing part of my online order so emailed with all the information they obviously got the email and responded with a resolution within 24 hours the one time I’ve had a ‘problem’ and I’m happy with the way it’s been handled. Basically now the item is sold out they have offered to refund me or swap it for a different doll with next day delivery or I can collect the same doll from further away as Stockport haven’t got it. I got apologies, I got the doll sorted out and we’re all humans mistakes are going to happen it’s how they respond to the complaint that makes a difference. The doll will be here in time for my child birthday and that’s what matters! I’m happy with the response because at a different shop all together I’m still 4 months later trying to prove I never recieved anything, entertainers systems are all kept up to date as they were able to tell instantly my item hadn’t been dispatched rescinded quickly.”

“My two children absolutely love First steps, they have been there since they were 8 months and 2 attending a couple of days and now 2 and 4 attending full time Monday to Friday. Every room they’ve been in and moved up into has been brillliant. They have lots of outside time and lots of structured activities as well as free play too, they come home with so many things they’ve made that they’re so proud of! Too many to name but all staff have been amazing, I’ve seen mostly the same faces the whole time as turnover is so low and my children have adored everybody, they’ve made me feel so comfortable and confident leaving them knowing they’re so well looked after, there’s a real family feel. Ian, Luke and Tina have been brilliant, so organised in their management of everything and so helpful with flexibility where I’ve needed. So glad my kids have spent their first years here!”
