“A great location with ample parking available - there are also bus routes nearby. Bright and clean, along with good access for all having a lift available. A view of the Oldham Athletic pitch thrown in! I have attended a number of events here, and can recommend the centre for both social and business functions. Catering has always been very good, with friendly and efficient staff.”
“Asda colleagues are always busy but always willing to help find a product.”
“Thank you so much for making my little princess party one to be remembered. Elsa was amazing she was so fun and caring with all the children. I booked last minute and Elsa came on time looking beautiful. I would highly recommend this service for all your princess parties x”
“Marc and his other half were amazing, really informative and genuine in all areas. They helped us pick the right stroller and car seats and spent plenty of time with us explaining all relevant aspects. They gave us a really good deal in the end. Highly recommended, thanks!”
“Been coming here for about a year now with my three kids. The staff are brilliant - they’re patient with the children and really take their time to get the fit right. Never had issues with shoes being too tight or too loose afterwards. Makes shoe shopping so much easier as a parent. Would definitely recommend.”
“Best shop around to actually try on 50s and 40s clothes. A lot of the suppliers use different sizing so its best to go in store.”
“Excellent haircut, I have curly hair but it is now thinner than it was. My hair looks a lot thicker and curlier after the cut, so much so that folk are commenting on it. Very friendly and welcoming and the salon is very clean and very tastefully decorated. I've known about Clipso for years, I wish I had come here 30 years ago. Thank you. Sandra”
“YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. This is the only burger place we go it beats all burger joints including five guys we never been disappointed. We have recommended to family and friends and they now order from here”
“Beautiful. Located in the quaint town of Uppermill, this chic cafe bar is a faithful spinoff of one of Uppermill’s best cafes, Caffe Grande Abaco. This cafe bar has a nice rustic and authentic atmosphere, like a traditional cafe bar you may find in Italy. Also, the staff are really friendly (10/10), especially Nigel (the owner), who was great to me. Plus, I went to Caffe Grande Abaco for 10 years, and it was quite emotional to meet Nigel, as I was always asking the staff at Caffe Grande Abaco, “Is the owner in?”. Now, back to Veloce! The cafe offers a variety of drinks, handpicked from CGA (at this point, I’m going to shorten it - Caffe Grande Abaco). So, you can have a nice latte or a cosy hot chocolate while you chill and warm up here. Surprisingly, it is also a deli, since they have charcuterie meats and cheeses, condiments, authentic Mediterranean pastries and biscuits, and even freshly baked bread (so authentic!). I tried Rogers Pistachio Cruffin (mix between a croissant and a muffin) which was crispy and flaky on the outside, but fluffy and indulgent on the inside, and the silky pistachio cream made it even better. Perfect for breakfast! They also do sandwiches here, with fresh sourdough and scrumptious meats and cheeses and even flaky sausage rolls. What I really want to mention, however, is the fact that they are supporting local businesses. Most things here (the pastries, products and even honey) are made by small businesses in towns near Uppermill, which is really nice as Veloce is helping out those businesses. Overall, this place is a must if you are looking for a proper Italian cafe bar, and some delicious food. It is also perfect if you want to buy some charcuterie meats and cheeses, as they have a wide variety of them. Only complaint is, Veloce really needs to bring in some Arancini, as I don’t see much Arancini in Saddleworth, and I’m very sad about that. “A Great range and a lovely store. Easy for parking at the New store in Diggle, close to the canal tunnel end for walks to the cafe's and parks in Diggle too.”
“Had a few roasts in the old venue which were stunning Been few times at the old cock and Sundays roasts fab too - I do miss the lamb shanks on the menu but enjoy the other meats we had Have to say the cheesecakes are the best I’ve eaten absolutely gorgeous Would also like to comment the young girl running the floor ( maybe the chefs daughter ) so lovely with a gentle caring and kind approach that always tries to make your experience as positive as possible Only negative be the venue seems so cold :)”
“As a group of mtb cyclist we visit this cafe quite frequently. Over the years we have never had a problem with the service always spot on. And the food is always excellent”
