“Supper Tasty halal food, we ordered mixed grilled platter for £25.50 which is very big size for the price and well enough for three people and taste is amazing good, and we also had houmous and a pizza and bubble tea and every thing was supper. “Heard a new chicken shop opened up in my local area, thought I'll give it ago. Was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service from the staff. The food was really good too, I ordered a spicy chicken burger meal and a half peri grill chicken platter. The grilled chicken was really tasty and covered in a flavoursome peri sauce. The burger was huge, and the muffin couldn't cover it all. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and will definitely be coming again.”

“We happen stop here on the way to a long walk, ordered and sausage & bacon barm, bacon & egg barm and a side of blackpudding and it was delicious. Really friendly, set us up nicely for the morning. Easy to pull in and stop at the side.”

“I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the classic Sunday roast to the rotating chef’s specials, the food is consistently 10/10 — it’s far beyond what you’d expect from pub food and easily rivals high-end restaurants. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are almost unbelievable given the quality you get. Drinks are also great value, with top brands served at very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help, no matter how busy it gets. They always do their best to accommodate everyone including dietary needs, and make you feel right at home. “The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. “A spur of the moment decision on a Sunday late Sunday afternoon. A Walk in without a reservation late on Sunday afternoon, the pub was relatively busy and there was a small queue of people waiting to be seated. Whilst guest were being seated, the lady behind the bar could see that we were waiting. She stopped what she was doing, she greeted us with a cherry hello, and confirmed if we had a reservation which we haven’t. She said it was no bother had a table available And it will only take two ticks to wipe down and set up. We both went for the Sunday lunch one roast beef one roast lamb the meals came to the table within 20 minutes and I have to say one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years we finished off With one cheesecake and two spoons. The staff here at the Horton were most definitely on their a game when we visited on Sunday. Polite professional and welcoming. We will most definitely be returning to the Horton Arms.”

“We absolutely love The Cafe and we do probably order at least once a week. We do get breakfast and lunch! The food is always absolutely delicious and great portion sizes too! I love the little touches too, such as the odd extra crusty bread with our salad or sometimes a slice of cake with a little note and a smile! Great service, great food! Love it! Just sometimes they are so busy delivery is turned off but that just goes to show how popular they are! Definitely recommend!”

“What we really like about going to this Costa is that most times we are there there it's not too busy. Tables are spaced out well so that they don't tend to feel claustrophobic. The music is not too heavy, so we are able to enjoy both it and conversation. Not always a great selection of foodstuffs. And, although you can use your Costa card to add points, you can't redeem them at this location (bit of a pain). Still, it has also thought about families with very young children in providing a few things to do. On the whole, it's not a bad place to visit if you don't mind paying the Costa prices!”
