“I stayed here for 6months plus and the owners where lovely always helping out, rooms cleaned every 3 days, was nice atmosphere used to play pool owners would keep pub open for us finishing work at 1 and get a few games of pool highly recommend joan and alan where the best i have stayed at in a long time thank you”

“Great traditional pub. Great entertainment on Friday nights for music & karaoke. The managers are great as are the staff. Great atmosphere and lovely group of regulars. Through the day, there is a beer garden at the back which is a sun trap and great for a relaxing pint after work.”

“The girls who work here are very caring & make sure that they cut your hair to your satisfaction. They are also very friendly & happy. These girls work on a Tuesdays. There are different people who work on other days. They cut men's or women's hair & are very reasonably priced”

“A real upscale place! Fabulous spacious bar with plenty of seating and large screens, lovely clean room for 3 adults sharing. Not a lot of parking but that was the only complaint. Fabulous breakfast too, even swapped out my egg for black pudding which not everywhere will do. Great and also close to other bars and Horwich centre - about a mile walk to the Bolton Wanderers ground.”

“Visited 29/04/2024, at lunch time parking was available in the limited spots at front of the building. Go in and there is the restaurant part to the right as you go in. The seabass on the potato dauphinois and green beans was very tasty, the side of salt and pepper chips was also nice.
