“I have now been with the Bank Dental Practice for many years; until now I have always been seen by Dr Michael Haffner. I think that the very fact that I have continued going here for so long speaks for itself. Because of his busy schedule, my latest appointments which called for emergency treatment have been with Dr Meira and, as with Dr Haffner, I am totally impressed with her professionalism and with the kindness with which she cares for her patients, neither of which can I speak too highly of. Indeed, inasmuch as one can say this of going to the dentist, I look forward to my next visit!”

“I’ve been coming to this dentist for years, and they’ve always been excellent. Even though I’ve moved outside of Manchester, I still prefer to come all the way here. Chris is very open, honest, and friendly, always giving clear and genuine advice. They were kind enough to accommodate my lateness and even booked me in with the hygienist the same day, as I couldn’t come back for a few weeks. The hygienist was absolutely top-notch — did a fantastic job and kept checking if I was okay throughout. The receptionist is very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. “A breath of fresh air! Great visit today. Met a fantastic dentist called ‘Noor Fatima’. Absolutely delighted. I am hard of hearing, this lady was polite, a beautifully spoken lady, she made an effort to look at me when communicating so I could see what she was saying too. Dr Fatima is brilliant, very intelligent and knowledgeable as well as a caring and compassionate person. Dr Fatima fixed my broken filling and had my teeth all sparkling clean in no time and I went out there with a big smile on my face. Dr Fatima is exactly the kind of dentist we all need, a true professional and very empathetic. A very gentle lady. “Fantastic dental surgery. Been at this dentist my whole life and all of the staff I have encountered have been lovely and competent. I have had lots of check ups and various treatments over the years and they have always provided me with high quality care. They especially have been very understanding and supportive of me as a person with a severe needle phobia and have allowed me to have procedures such as fillings without anaesthetic at my request but equally have supported me very well when I have had to have procedures such as tooth extraction where needles have been essential to the treatment, even prescribing me with diazepam prior to the extraction to ease some of the anxiety. The only issue I have ever had is that I do struggle to contact them via telephone as my calls often ring out or go to voicemail. Otherwise a genuinely fantastic dental surgery, can't rate them high enough!”

“Very happy with my first experience at Ivy today. I'm quite nervous attending the dentist but all of the staff were so kind and welcoming. I was seen by Malcolm and his dental nurse Paul, who were both very efficient and made me feel at ease straight away. Malcolm was brilliant at talking me through everything, making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Kim on reception was also lovely and made setting up my next appointments so easy. “My filling broke on my tooth days before going on holiday. Phoned Poynton dental practice on the Saturday evening and was given an appointment midday Sunday. On arrival was greeted by the dentist who was friendly and polite. He explained everything about the treatment on offer and let me decide for myself. I decided to have it refilled and will have it capped at a later day. I was given the choice of music to be played in the back ground while the procedure took place. The staff were very friendly and helped me feel at ease. I am very happy with the service and would recommend Poynton Dental service to anybody.”

“I was referred to Dr Waith at DCO to remove two troublesome wisdom teeth, one was particularly challenging. After an initial consultation & scans various options were discussed and ultimately decision was taken to remove them in two separate visits. Whilst its not top of my bucket list of things to do in life everything went very smoothly and I was back up and running after both procedures very quickly and delighted with the outcome. “I visited Moston Dental Surgery in August, as I required an emergency appointment for a root canal. My local dentists in South Manc were unable to accommodate an emergency appointment. I spoke with the receptionist at Moston Dental Surgery and explained that the pain was absolute torture, and she kindly booked an appoitment for 11.30am on the day. I was greeted by the principle dentist Dr Muhammed AbdulHussain who assured me that he would alleviate the pain with a temporary procedure. He was friendly, personable and affable. The matter was soon resolved. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was extremely reasonable, in comparison to the prices in Didsbury. The key factor was that there was no compromise on the quality of service or procedure. As a matter of fact it was of a very high standard and I would highly recommend that you consider this practice going forward. I have since visited on a few occasions to have a dental hygiene and a couple of fillings. I am currently undergoing a full root canal procedure. I have therefore scored Moston Dental Surgery a well deserved 10/10”

“Plenty of parking nearby. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy reception and treatment rooms. Appointment booked a few days in advance and had a very short wait to be seen on the day. Vet was approachable and efficient. Follow up appointment booked there and then with reminder sent to my phone. The bill was a pleasant surprise!”

“Zohaib Ali I went to see Zo to have a partial denture fitted after losing three loose molars a few years earlier. I had investigated implants during this time, but had reluctantly admitted that I wouldn’t be able to endure the treatment necessary to fit them: I’m squeamish about all medical procedures and have a phobia about needles, so when a sinus lift entered the equation, the possibility of implants went out of the window. But I was struggling to eat- I could only use one side of my jaw to chew and those teeth were taking quite a hammering. When I met Zo, I immediately had confidence in his abilities as a dental surgeon; his confident demeanour and the wide-ranging knowledge he displayed, as well as the empathy he expressed, made me feel that he would make sure I had as positive an experience as possible, regardless of the treatment. However, it became clear that partial dentures would not be an option for me- they would create too much pressure on my remaining teeth. It was going to be implants or nothing and it took quite a few conversations with Zo for me to believe I could go down that road. Several months and an amount of treatment later, I have three new perfectly-fitting back teeth and I can chew away as I always used to. They feel (and look) natural. Zo made the sessions more than bearable- some of them threw up complications, which he dealt with in a calm and expert manner. He is a supremely competent practitioner. And, surprisingly, there was quite an amount of laughter over the months of treatment, something which I never expected, given my aversion to all things medical (especially needles)! I still have to pinch myself that I was ‘brave’ enough to have implants fitted, but the reality is that I found a dental surgeon who could do the job to a supremely high standard whilst reassuring a patient as reluctant and jittery as I am. I would recommend Zo without hesitation. He has made ‘going to the dentist’ a tolerable, if not an almost-enjoyable, experience. With wonderful results. I’m grateful to him every time I eat a meal chewing with my whole jaw, something I didn’t believe I’d be able to do again. Thanks, Zo!”
