“As a new golfer, I first went to Richard for a club fitting. I was immediately impressed by the data analysis he presented to me after I tested a number of different brands and models of irons. This allowed us to make an informed decision when choosing the set to order. Once my set of irons arrived I initiated my first block of lessons at The Golf School. As anyone will know who plays golf, there are so many elements to a golf swing but the highly technical launch monitors, camera systems and teaching aids that Richard uses at his facility really help you to understand your swing and see the impact when you make changes. When things don’t go so well you can more easily identify which area you need to work on too. The indoor facilities allow you to continue with lessons and practice no matter what the weather, enabling further improvement throughout the winter season when you might otherwise have not been out as much as you would have liked. Richard is a great communicator and he ensures you have a clear understanding of his teaching. He is informative and friendly and delivers his lessons in a relaxed environment. I am incredibly pleased with the progress I have made since having lessons with Richard and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their game technically but also psychologically.”
“My son Oliver has been attending Aura music Academy for several years now learning to play drum (acoustic). He attended a couple of different taster sessions so he could decide where he wanted to learn and chose Aura. He has had a few different tutors along the way but has connected well with them which is important for him to engage fully. Regular updates on the school and lesson notes shared so we can see how he continues to progress.”
“My son has finished his first year of reception and it’s been a good experience. Our hope was that he’d find a friendly and diverse environment where any learning needs could be quickly identified and addressed. Although our primary focus was an emphasis good pastoral care and holistic development versus pure academic targets, we’ve been happy to note that he performs well above a broad group of his peers in this aspect. He has been stretched in areas where he was strong and supported in those he currently struggled with. As a consequence, he no longer finds mathematics onerous and takes pleasure in demonstrating his skills. We look forward to his pursuing opportunities in music and on the sports field in the coming years. A welcome bonus has been making new friends with other parents from a wide range of backgrounds. Accepting that we may be biased given the wealth of excellent state primary schools in Trafford, overall our experience with the school has been a good one, supporting our choice for an independent school in general and St Ambrose in particular.”
“Did a drainage job ere unblocked the toilets”
“My daughter underwent a total transformation within a year at Bowdon and had I known the difference it makes to a child's development earlier, I would have moved her from her original school much sooner.”
“We have had the pleasure of having our two children looked after by Elmscot Day Nursery for the past five years, after a lot of researching other nurseries before we set out. I can confidently say that they are simply the best in Timperley / Altrincham. Special thanks to Joe, Danielle, Mrs Williams, Ruby, Siobhan, Louise, Kathryn, and of course, Practice Manager Laura, who has gone above and beyond in every way over the years. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care have made a big difference in our children’s lives. We always felt reassured knowing our kids were in such capable hands, learning and growing in a warm, nurturing environment. Elmscot is not just a nursery; it’s a second home for our kids! Thank you for all the wonderful memories!”
“Fantastic school! Incredible ethos, teachers, facilities and a real feeling of being part of a nurturing community. Proud that our son is a Forrester.”
“My son really enjoyed visiting here. He played with the big variety of toys and activities. The staff were great and attentive, it was also very clean. Food and drink was great and we will definitely be back on a regular occurrence.”
“My sister used Homelands for her children and when our first came along my wife visited and was really impressed with it so we signed up. I cannot speak highly enough of this place; it has been a wonderful experience for our 1st, 2nd and 3rd child. Obviously all the child development stuff is a key metric and they have all progressed brilliantly during their time there, but for me it is secondary to the loving environment that is so very evident at Homelands. There are so many nice staff there, and even more that have passed through at times; they have a knack for selecting dedicated, caring and professional people. There is core leadership team that have been there throughout our children's time there that I have found very re-assuring, and I will be sad when our youngest leaves because I see them as sort of an extended family! With Homelands your children will be safe and loving hands. ***From Jan 2020 you can drop off at 730 as well (rather than 8)***”
