βAs a new golfer, I first went to Richard for a club fitting. I was immediately impressed by the data analysis he presented to me after I tested a number of different brands and models of irons. This allowed us to make an informed decision when choosing the set to order. Once my set of irons arrived I initiated my first block of lessons at The Golf School. As anyone will know who plays golf, there are so many elements to a golf swing but the highly technical launch monitors, camera systems and teaching aids that Richard uses at his facility really help you to understand your swing and see the impact when you make changes. When things donβt go so well you can more easily identify which area you need to work on too. The indoor facilities allow you to continue with lessons and practice no matter what the weather, enabling further improvement throughout the winter season when you might otherwise have not been out as much as you would have liked. Richard is a great communicator and he ensures you have a clear understanding of his teaching. He is informative and friendly and delivers his lessons in a relaxed environment. I am incredibly pleased with the progress I have made since having lessons with Richard and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their game technically but also psychologically.β

βSince the first day my daughter started at Hale Day Nursery, she has thrived and loved every moment. Sheβs seamlessly moved from one room to the next, receiving the same level of care and attention by each member of staff, who deliver learning and development in a fresh and forward-thinking way - one that engages and stretches the children. I canβt recommend the nursery enough.β
βMy daughter underwent a total transformation within a year at Bowdon and had I known the difference it makes to a child's development earlier, I would have moved her from her original school much sooner.β
βMy son has finished his first year of reception and itβs been a good experience. Our hope was that heβd find a friendly and diverse environment where any learning needs could be quickly identified and addressed. Although our primary focus was an emphasis good pastoral care and holistic development versus pure academic targets, weβve been happy to note that he performs well above a broad group of his peers in this aspect. He has been stretched in areas where he was strong and supported in those he currently struggled with. As a consequence, he no longer finds mathematics onerous and takes pleasure in demonstrating his skills. We look forward to his pursuing opportunities in music and on the sports field in the coming years. A welcome bonus has been making new friends with other parents from a wide range of backgrounds. Accepting that we may be biased given the wealth of excellent state primary schools in Trafford, overall our experience with the school has been a good one, supporting our choice for an independent school in general and St Ambrose in particular.β
βI went here before high school. Absolutely AWESOME. Awesome people here and just greatβ
βWonderful school, my son has flourished since beginning there. Keep up the good work!β

βThe Young lady that helped me sort the trainers out for my son Friday 23rd of August 2024 was the only member of staff that seemed to be working, The shop was empty of staff except for Her, She went off like a shot and got the size I needed and made a fantastic suggestion to help make the trainers last longer. I hope this young lady gets the praise she deserves. She made the hole experience so much easier for me. I won't be going anywhere else for trainers for me or my boys. Thank you JD Altrincham and the big thankyou to the young lady that helped me. Did make me laugh that she though I had size 7 feet when I'm 6ft 4" and size 14 feet bless her.β
βHigh education system, nice and welcoming. No problems at all. Deserves a 10 star rating if possibleβ
